Wladimir Klitschko (2009) vs. Joe Frazier (1971)

Frazier can't hit Wlad. The latter is too big and too tall to get hit.

 

Frazier would get beaten to a bloody pulp in a one-sided beatdown. Embarrassing to think how this would play out.

Smokin' Joe did not have a good chin, and avoided many punchers excpet for Foreman. The next best puncher besdies Foreman who Frazier fought was likely Bonevenna ( who was not a big punch ) and he nearly KO'd Fazier.

Wlad seldom gets caught with a hook. Frazier had not jab, and seldom used the uppercut. Can Frazier take Wlad's punches? Would it not be easy for Wlad to tie up Frazier in a clinch as Ali did?

 

If you dont realise Wlad is TAILOR MADE for Frazier (no inside game, weak chin) you are kidding yourself

I really dont no about this one. Wlad would try to keep it at distance, but would be troubled by Joe's bobbing an weaving, and Frazier would want to get in close, but wouold be troubled by Wlad's holding up close.

I suppose Smokin Joe is more proven at the highest level, so i'd pick him to break Wlad's body down. I dont think Wlad's jab would be all that effective against a fast moving Heavyweight.

If you would have looked at this poll say 2 years ago, Wlad's chances would be laughed at.

Even critics now see that Wlad has a serious chance to beat Frazier.

 

I'm not arguing with that point. I'm just saying that people randomly clicking the 'Wladimir Klitschko' opinion doesnt indicate who would win the fight, particularly without a short explination
