Just made this thread for the lulz..Toney has always said at his best he would destroy Wladimir Klitschko, now in this fantasy match up he gets his chance.
12 rounds for the WBA,IBF,IBO and ring titles. :bbb

In 2003, Toney had to go thru hell and high water, just to beat Jirov in a very close fight, and Jirov has nowhere near the talent Klitchko has, not to mention how much smaller and weaker he is...

Toney is 5-9, Klitchko is 6-6, and about 10 years younger and 40 lbs heavier of muscle not flab, Toney would end up in the hospital..

Watch Sam Peter beat the living hell out of Toney in the 2nd fight , and tell me how James i can't help slurring my speech wins this ????:nut

Wlad takes this 120-108 or 119-109.

I can imagine this looking like the Lebedev fight.

That is a fight the Klitschkos always avoided .

I always felt that , at his best, Toney would have beaten Vitali by close decision.

However, Wlad would have won a competitive UD against Toney.

Toney/Vitali would have been interesting. Maybe a replica of the Byrd fight?

Wlad is a totally different ballgame though. Im not sure what Toneys reach is, but Wlad would just keep him on the end of the jab to another boring decision. Dont be surprised if Toneys output drops considerably when Wlad doesnt just stand in front of him.

Toney is/was an amazing talent, but he also does talk a load of sh**

I agree that stylisticaally, Vitali would be the easier for Toney.

That is also why only Wlad - Toney was in discussions in the past.

I love Toney but I think Wlad with his size advantage and good technical boxing would be able to win a lopsided decision. Toney may have some good moments getting through with his right hand by countering Wlad's jab but overall I picture Wlad being able to win most of the rounds by keeping Toney at distance with straight shots.

One thing is for sure, James Toney would molest George Foreman and afterwards smoke a cigar while the big ***** cries in the shower and has visions of God.

Once Jimmy Young taps your ass, the doors are open.

Can you imagine how bad Toney would make Foreman look?

But i think George only needs to connect once.

Just messing with ForemanJab, who I suspect to be another Foreman Troll
Alt but yeah, I suspect Toney would make Foreman look bad for a good number of rounds.

Probably something like the second Frazier/Foreman fight. With Toney slipping and ducking under Foreman before the inevitable. Toney just not mobile enough at HW to clinch a victory but certainly slippery enough to make it interesting.

Wlad wins by clear decision, but fails to stop Toney who had great defence. It took Wlad 12 rds to catch Chambers and I'm sure Toney from 2003 was better defensive fighter than Eddie.
