Blasphemy..! It was early stoppage, he was only warming up to deliver Joshua the beating of the lifetime. Charles Martin is the greatest champ in history.

    Long live King Charles!

What is Joshua going to do after eating another nuclear right hand and Wlad goes for the kill this time? That's IF Joshua gets up ;)

Yes the fight went well at points for Klitschko but he lost the fight conclusively whats the need for a rematch?

Absolultey not..wlad isnt THAT guy...he would persue Wilder/Ortiz before that. No pointless fight would be on his agenda .

Neither of those fights will happen. Wilder is a coward and wouldn't risk it against Wlad, and as far Ortiz is concerned... If they're going to fight a dangerous and well schooled HW they'd go with the AJ rematch, not the little known Ortiz.

Wlad should have hit Joshua in the balls after he had him stunned. I hear from some cats on here it's legal to foul if you are trying to finish a hurt opponent.

Klitchko will NOT fight anyone like Hammer is what im getting at. Joshua and Ortiz is the logical options...as far as Wlad is concerned AFTEr Wilder..and thats only bc he has a belt...which would be knocked out of him ...SHOULD he fight Wlad.

Wlad had his best shot in the first fight.

He landed his best shot, AJ got up. Wlad gassed and AJ jumped on him and stopped him.

The result of a rematch would be the same, only with Wlad gassing earlier and AJ jumping him earlier in the fight.

The fact is Wlad is an old man, and a young man has better stamina and athleticism. He is not going to get younger between now and a rematch.

I think you're being too hard on Klitschko. Klitscko was 20 years older than the man. 20 years!!!

That's a long time, and to be honest they are like mirror images of each other in the way they fight. They only have 3 punches.

^^AJ has a great uppercut - a punch Wlad never had...so there's one more punch than Wlad in AJ's arsenal. Ask Wlad what he thinks of AJ's uppercut!! ;)

To be fair, WK landed uppercuts also in the fight. Yes, AJ's is better..but Wlad has long known to fight at a distance and hold inside and reset, negating a need for the uppercut.

Surely the decision is made and they are just waiting for the right time to announce it.

How long did he have didn't Hearn say it was 1 month or was it 2 months I can't remember... but seems to be dragging on now.

Yes, after this lol no, the decision has to be already made, one would think

Maybe they're holding off on making the announcement for, as you said, some set time for maximum impact

What in the world would that time be? Lol

But then again, after this long, I tend to lean towards that he is not taking the rematch, but is hesitant to come out and state it

They don't fight like each other at all. Sure they are of a similar size and have similar physical attributes but that doesn't mean they fight in a similar fashion.

Wlad is quicker he looks to use his greater speed to get off first. Joshua is different. he prefers to catch and counter and Wlad is no counter puncher.

Wlad looks to smother his opponents on the inside, he doesn't want to engage at mid and close range. Joshua on the other hand doesn't really clinch, he is looking to unload when at this range most of the time. He fights tall and long like Wlad but is willing to work on the inside too.

Wlad has better upper body and head movement. He uses this along with movement to evade shots, Joshua's defence is quite different. He keeps his hands higher, he has to as he doesn't move his head or upper body as well as Wlad so relies on his high guard to catch shots, while he will use his feet as well to create distance like Wlad when in range his approach is very different to Wlads.

And as for punch variety it's clear Joshua has slightly better variety. He has a good uppercut unlike Wlad's which is just and arm punch and looks awkward when thrown. Wlad's left hook is better but Joshua throws a solid left hook too. Joshua also varies the trajectory of his right hand. He doesn't always throw the straight right, sometimes he will hook it, like when he hurt Whyte, used an extended left to blind Whyte then threw an unexpected wide right hook which he didn't see coming. Joshua also throws in combination more than Wlad.
