No problems. You just need to think before you try debating with someone like Jisi who possesses an encyclopedic knowledge of the history of European boxing. He's not just some fanboy with a hard on for Wladimir Klitschko you know . . .
So that makes the whole discussion pointless ... it makes two to the tango. I bet Wlad has a good skills in the ring cutting, but I bet Adamk is experienced enough (much more experienced and skilled than anyone on Wlad's resume) so that aint happening as easy as you think. If you think clearly if I or anyone from you keyboard warriors would be fighting in the ring with Valuev then the big guy would be looking like a primaballerina dancing on the toes.
I'm not having a discussion, you said a faster opponent can't be cornered which I thought was a silly thing to say and so I replied with a witticism. That isn't a discussion it's two remarks at best.
The thread is not about imaginary faster vs imaginary skilled but about Wlad and Adamek and only in the contest of these two guys has any sense. Without personalization we may be talking about fight between robocop and spidermanan, whether robocop may cut off spiderman who is able to jump on a sticky rope glued to the Lapley's binoculars .... does that makes a big sense?
I do not say in the history of boxing. I mean European boxers of today expecially when they are training with Ex-DDR-coaches. They are too amateurish.
... and amateurs cannot cut the ring? Let me guess thats because they does not earn as much as the professionals and after they switch to professional status they just buy expensive bypasses to brain synapses?
Ok Wlad and Adamek then. No, Wlad won't cut the ring off or even try. He'll hang back and use his reach like he always does and if Adamek tries to fight from the outside and wait for counters we'll see another Ibragimov fight.
Nope. Adamek's style as a HW has little to do with counters, although he can do that to good effect. It's just not his predominant weapon these days. Adamek also does not stay on the outside, instead going in and out. He will try to be the aggressor and pace setter (as he has been in every HW fight), initiating 1-2 combos then showing movement. Then come from a different angle. This is all assuming he gets past Wlad's jab. If he does, and does the above, Wlad may be losing this fight on points and may need to stop Adamek to win.
IMO Wlad will have trouble cutting the ring with Adamek. Adamek is miles ahead of Ibragimov in terms if mobillity.
