Wladimir Klitschko and Evander Holyfield trade opposition

I think both would probably beat the others opponents though Wlad would be way more dominant while Holyfield should win but would probably have more competitive fights especially with some of the harder punchers Wlad fought.

 

They both do very well against the others opposition but I think Wlad likely does a bit better

 

I actually think that Holyfield vs guys like Lamon Brewster and Sam Peter would be exciting battles

 

Dangerous fights for Holyfield he should win but I can see him losing if he's in bad shape

 

They both have the rare X factor, of being able to operate at the highest level over a prolonged period.

Most great heavyweights didn't have that, so that makes it interesting.

I think that Wlad would have been handled very roughly by Holyfield's opposition early in his career.

I also think that he gets on top of things eventually, as he did in his own timeline.

I think that Holyfield woudl have been more consistent in this swapped timeline.

 

Yikes. Prime Bowe. Wlad is a bona fide ATG, but I don't know about his getting past the Holyfield I Bowe. Same with mid-90s Tyson.

 

With them both being in their primes for every fight, I think Holyfield may go undefeated. Wlad might have 3 or 4 losses by the end of it.

Wlad could very well beat Bowe, but at his best (first holy fight) I think Bowe takes it. Wlad might manage to win one or both of the rematches though. He beats Tyson maybe, but loses to Lewis. Goes undefeated for the rest of his career though.

Holyfield at his absolute best beats everyone imo. Struggles with Byrd but gets the win. Outworks Fury and overwhelms Joshua late.

I don`t think Tyson was that good in the mid 90`s.

 

Wlad never fought anyone like Lewis.

 

I think probably Holyfield wouldn't have gone as long as Wlad did his style is way more dependent on taking punishment. Wlad had a unique way of keeping his body in shape till 41 which very few great heavyweights managed.

Then again Wlad in the 90s probably wouldn't reign as he did IRL. He would have to run in Lennox Lewis in particular and Bowe and Tyson would probably have a punchers chance even though I think late 90s Tyson is a bit too far gone to be trusted against the Wlad who teamed up with Steward.

Lewis`s reach would really bother Wlad.
