    Couple Observations:

    1) Wlad or Vitali might fight Adamek - which means Wlad and Haye could still get it on while Vitali fights Thomas

    2) Why doesn't Haye want to fight Vitali?

    3) Why aren't the Haye fans upset that he is retiring when he is only 31?

I know it's boxing and it's a brutal sport, but I remember when Barry Sanders retired I was devastated he was my favorite player and he had a few (3 or 4) more seasons ahead of him potentially.

“ This guy [Haye] will eventually fight me. He will eventually fight me because everything coming out of his mouth is a lie. But if he does retire, he'll be a loser with no legacy in the heavyweight division at all. ”

David Haye is far from a loser. ****, I wish I was loser like Haye. Wlad can say what he wants, but both him and David are being drama queens and are equally responsible for the fight not getting made.

"It's not done yet, but some deals go much faster than David Haye deals," Klitschko said. "We did the Sam Peter [rematch] deal in three days. Adamek came to us and said let's do this. They were polite and respectful. So far, it looks very clear. There's no controversy in negotiations. Everything is clear and understandable."

I believe the above quote from the article, can answer a lot of your questions.

Try dominating for seven and counting years. Holding the IBF, IBO, WBO, & Ring Belts. Wladimir is also tied for 4th all time with 14 title defenses, behind Louis, Holmes, & Ali.

But tell me, what is so wrong with wanting to fight an interim warm up type fight, when the Haye-Wlad fight was scheduled to take place in 7 months (due to both RTL and SKY restrictions) and Wlad hasn't fought since last September? What Wlad was asking for (his own damn warm up fight) I find very reasonable and none of Haye's stinking business.

If anything Haye should be honored that Wlad thinks he needs a tune-up before facing him. Haye did not want Wlad to take a tune up fight (probably because Haye would also need to take one and based on his **** poor acitivity level as a HW, he just doesn't want to risk it) so close to his fight and he was the one who pulled away from the deal not Wlad.

I don't get why Haye keeps changing his mind about which brother he wants to face. I get the feeling Haye wanted to fight Wlad after a period of injury/inactivity.

Anyway that article says Haye was willing to fight on April 30 but Sky killed it, so it looks like there is some hope Haye will eventually step up.

Cause anything can go wrong in that long of time period, why not get the fight done and over with sooner? Wlad's warm-up wont do anything for him, aisde from standing their like a punching bag till Wlad lowers the big straight right in the 6th round or so.

I just dont think Haye wants to wait, and if Wlad really wants to fight him the offers on the table. It's not like he's fighting Adamek or something, which most would understand Wlad sticking with the plan. Instead he's fighting a practical nobody, when he could be fighting a really good opponent that can improve his legacy as champ.

Agreed. I would prefer a Haye-Wlad fight this winter or early spring as well and so would they I believe. But they just could not find a date that would fit both RTL and SKY in the early part of the year. That was out of Haye's and Wlad's hands. The July date was really the earilest available date.

Therefore, if the fight has to take place in July, its in Wlad's best interest to take a safe tune up fight, since he has not fought since last September. I think Haye is concerned about a few things here:

    1. Wlad will be properly warmed-up for the fight, which means that Haye should be as well. Given Haye's **** poor activity level as a HW, he's reluctant to take a warm up fight as well.

    2. There's a small chance that Wlad will lose to Chisora and the entire fight will not happen and therefore Haye will not get his pay day (although a nice pay day could then be made with Chisora..however, Chisora would likely be obligated to fighting both a rematch with Wlad and fight Vitaly as well, so it could get tricky for Haye).

    3. 9 weeks between the Chisora fight and the Haye fight are apparently not long enough to promote a fight. I'm not so sure. Wlad is probably right that the Chisora fight will also promote the Haye fight, since all interviews and conferences taking place for the Chisora fight will inevitably mention Haye's name.

Interesting breakdown. Haye is no different than Hopkins, by picking your opponents wisely you have a much better chance of winning and lengthening your career.

Wlad has very little chance of losing. Haye's probably more worried Wlad will injure something during the fight than anything else. Which will then push the fight back further.

Wlad could have a fight lined up against Charlie Zelenoff, and in 9 weeks have a sold out crowd in Germany. The German people could care less who is fighting, they still come out in droves to see it. As boring as it may be to watch or how weak the opponent is.

The article offers way too much reality for Haye fans to comprehend.

    LMAO

Comparing Haye to Hopkins...shame on you.

Hopkins fought many great fighters, Haye has fought none.
