I think Wlad will be aggressive in the later rounds and will force the stoppage if it does enter the later rounds. I just cannot see Wlad letting him off the hook if Haye looks disorganized and in trouble.

All those guys have excellent chins(Okay Peters chin is now cracked but he can still take a hell of a lot)Haye has been down by much lighter punchers than Wlad.
    Monte put him down FFS:-(
Who said Thompson was 'taken to pieces in sparring'?

David Haye was standing square on, when Monte Barrett knocked him down. And then Monte Barrett went on to, hit David Haye on the canvas.

"David Haye then got up, and ended the fight"

Yeah he still got dropped by Monte whatever excuse is out there.Point is I dont agree with a lot of people who say Hayes hard to hit,he hasnt got a Mayweather-esqe defence and he certainly hasnt got a Hagler like chin.Anyone with a bit of speed can land on Haye and doesnt have that much trouble doing it.Take Ruiz for example.

I see where you coming from, i watched Valuev fight and felt that he did what he had to do. Remember he broke hand in second and also was new to weight and boxed a even bigger man. I think his punches in bunches will be the undoing for Wlad he may read the first but he doesn't have the defensive technique to block the second. He relies a lot on leaning or step back or grabbing or trying to pull fighter down or block them with forearms. I think Haye's loose style of punching and the speed and more importantly the accuracy will course Wlad such problems and when he folds boy does he fold!

Last night i watched Chageav and Chambers fights with Wlad and then Wlad's losses/knockdowns. They follow a similar path and i believe Haye possess the strengths and abilities to win this fight. Wlad likes to control range but once that range has been lost and he's hit with not one but two and three punches he folds very quickly and i don't feel he's changed that much just worked a very good way of stopping it. Haye's gonna be the first test probably since a Prime Peter that will let his hands go with aggression and speed.

Yep Haye will be smart to punch to side of head Wlad fell apart against Peter through Peter punching way out of clinch. To many guys sit there and let ref break and then go back to range. Haye's gonna make Wlad work on the inside something he doesn't have ability to do other then grab.

I'm really confident after things i saw last night and seeing Haye in supreme shape and confidence i think this fight ends early and Haye wins.

Has the background of big fights, occasions at home and abroad he has everything needed to win this fight.

ignore the valuev fight for haye's punch output and tempo,he knew he most likely could not hurt valeuv,so he paced himself for 12,and he also dropped his aggresiveness and output when he damaged his right hand in the early rounds.

Also, he may have watched the Holyfield fight and used that as a template.

As for fighting in Germany, Haye hasn't shown any detrimental effect from fighting away from home. It could be argued it is to his advantage.

he will have defo used holyfields well fought gameplan, but he stated he did damage his hand and wanted to originallly land more often, try be more aggresive.

Ide imagine its hard being busy agaisnt someone so big and almost unbreakable and doing it for 12 when your hammering a brick wall that cant get hurt and keeps following and giving you nowhere to go.

I remember in lead ups to a few of Haye's previous fights there was talk and mention of the colour of t-shirt Haye would wear and how it related to the tactical approach to the fight. Is this still something that Haye and his team adopt, or was it just made up in the first place? I've seen him wearing blue t-shirts the other day on skysports but not really paid attention if that has been the colour the whole way through. And if true blue would suggest a calm, careful approach to the fight, thoughts
