Haye is fairly difficult to hit. Not Mayweather no, but he's not easily to nail regularly, particularly up at heavyweight where he's comparatively very fast.

I mean if you think about it, you can't really have a Glass Jaw, an average defence, and yet only suffer one defeat years ago as a novice.

What was the last big, big shot landed on him? I mean a big shot, the type that in most divisions you see guys hit with every fight? Probably back in the Mormeck fight IMO.

Yeah would have to be the Mormeck fight but whos he fought since then who could really test him?
Its like when talking about Wladimir not really having any big shot landed on him since 2005 but people still know he has a poor chin and I doubt many think he has a great defence.
I dont think John Ruiz has much trouble landing shots on Haye, granted they wasnt anything big but hes never been that sorta fighter anyway.Offensively Haye was good that night but his defence wasnt and a heavy handed guy like Wlad with one punch KO power in either hand will capitalize IMO

If Haye had full sparring for the Ruiz fight he would've slipped the shots like he was doing in the Enzo and Valuev fights imo

Yeah maybe but I hate when a fighter makes excuses after a fight, never looks good IMO.
I just see slow old Ruiz being able to do some decent stuff at times and we all know Booth wasnt happy with the amount of times Ruiz got to Haye.

Yeah but Wlad's defence is his size and jab. Whereas David Haye is the same size or smaller than all his recent opponents. They have plenty of opportunity to land in that respect. He has pretty good reflexes and upper body movement.

Oooooooh man that face off! Just brilliant! Both funny and intense throughout. Haye rips Wlad to pieces in my opinion here (don't think it effects the fight at all) but I know it is difficult for Wlad because English isn't his first thought and he likes to be more patient anyway.

Haye looks very comfortable. Wlad looks furious. I don't buy in to pre-fight psychology, but I see what Haye's doing. He's using a classic reversal.

Holy ****, Wlad's face after the Vitali question, i thought he was going to KO Haye there and then.... so did Haye and Kellerman for that matter.

    "He's clearly a dickhead"

Loved it, could have watched an hours worth of that!!

A twenty minute long Haye interview has just gone up on Sky Anytime. It was filmed last Friday in David's fight hotel, he was very tired after an intense weights session but still on good form.

    Cheers ED

No-one who has watched that face-off can say that Haye hasn't got under Wlads skin.

    He looks absolutely furious.

Now will this turn him into a beast or will it get him KTFO?

History tells us it will probably get him KO'd!!!

Wlad was pissed off! But let's not forget this was filmed a long time ago, and he didn't seem anywhere near as pissed off at any of their meetings since then?

Yeah that's a good point, it was filmed at least a month ago.

And cheers for that interview Ed. Just watched it and it's a good one :good Liked the questioning about Haye's retirement plan. I can see why Haye would like to retire on top but it's definitely gonna be a kick to the bollocks of boxing if he does beat Wlad then just retires.
