I'm not massively confident because Haye is quick and hits hard enough to hurt Wlad but I think if the fight is cat and mouse it'll suit Wlad as he'll probably be edging the rounds while they "spar" and to change that its Haye that has to take the chances to get into range.

I'm over there to support Haye but I'll probably have £100 on Wlad. Kinda a win/win from a certain perspective.....who do you fancy?

I like this post, you are right....alot of people are assuming that David Haye won the face off, as he upset Wladimir several times.

David is a good fighter and generally a nice guy but I do believe his plan and Booth plan is to make Wladimir more emotional, and come more aggressive thus making more mistakes....I actually believe if Haye didnt wind Wladimir up it would benefit him more, make Wlad underestimate him.

Watch the face off again, when Wladimir looks at Haye, you can tell he will mean business and I firmly belive that Wladimir will stop Haye in the 9th round.

Yep,but I'll be quite happy to be wrong (it sure as hell wouldn't be the first time!!)

Yeah mate. Thursday to the Monday. That Head to Head is a bit of nonsense but I have to admit it really got me buzzing about the fight when I watched it last night!!!

This is what I have been saying, I like the sentence 'cat and mouse' as both men will be pecking at each other. They wont be in the trenches, up close and smashing each other. Style wise both men fight from range utilse there abilties....Wlad long, tall and hard hitting accurate punches and Haye speed, reflexes and hard hitting punches.

If anyone cares to look back at my posts I have from the start gone with Wladimir.

I felt Haye lost his momentum around 2008 when in my Mind he would have taken Wlad out. Wlad was going through a plateau period, looked very poor against Ibragimov and Thompson....and terrible against a really old Rahman.

Then of late (last 2 yrs) he looked a great fighter against Chagaev and Chambers. Both men are top 10 fighters, who would pose alot of fighters problems.

Actually back to the little boy who laughed at my post...id put Chagaev and Chambers in as the best Wlad has faced.

I just think he's barking up the wrong tree.

He'd be better just acting normally rather than trying to be something he ain't.

What does make me smile is when he says that he's going to save the division by beating one fighter and then retiring. Nice work mate :patsch

I think he genuinely believes some of the stuff he comes out with too, though thankfully the British media are starting to write from a more neutral point of view since the joint appearance on Ringside.

    He's a master at self-promotion I'll give him that.

Its good as its market boxing to the average viewer, remember U.S.A is the biggest market there is. Boxing heavyweight division has not gone downhill contrary to what people are saying in fact its getting hugely competitive.

Imagine if we had a world political situation like that of the 1950s to 1980s where the soviet Union was not involved and Europe was way behind North America?

Ali opponent Brian London did not have any sparring partners for his title fight which would be unheard of.

All of a sudden the leading American fighters without the collapse of Soviet Union would look like all stars.

    C. Arreola - Unbeaten champion
    L. Brewster - Has 6 losses, but you could take out 4 as 3 were to old europe/soviet fighters and one to a nigerian.
    C. Byrd long time champion
    T. Thomspon

You could go on and on.

TBH the best bit about going to fight is not having to be on here that weekend when one set of ******s is going to be starting threads left, right and centre....;)

ESB will crash on Saturday morning, I have no doubt about that.

Probably won't be back up again until at least the following Monday.

    Got to be Wlad.

Just seems to have that presence of authority and will control the fight.
