"I don't like this ref therefore I should be allowed get Wlads belts but if he beats me he doesn't get mine"

Who the **** is David Haye to be dictating on who should ref the fight. It's a refs job to decide what is and isn't excessive holding.

Who the **** are team Klitschko to be dictating who should be referee?

    Exactly.

What we need is a ref known to be impartial, not some random **** thats reffed plenty of Klitschko fights. It's very important for the transparency, when the fight is taking place in Germany.

I think it's fair to say that Wlad has demonstrated excessive holding in the past. The extent he uses it is not in the rules or the spirit of the sport IMO and he should be penalised for it.

Hi all this is what ive been saying for years now, if you look at my posts its basically what you have described.

    From a scientific observation-

Haye has only fought in total 4 men taller than him-

    Gurov 6'5
    Macarenelli 6'3 1/2
    Valuev 7'0
    Harrison 6'5 1/2

Anaylse and observe his tactics versus those men...sporadic outbursts...in reality we need to watch his heavyweight bouts where his punch output his very low...this for me is the key.

But Haye and Booth are sure that this is the perfect game plan... taking away his jab by using movement, and letting Haye slip the jab...then every so often catching him.

I agree, but that's up to the referee to decide if/when he does it.

We're having a barbecue on the same day, so I might ask my dad to order the PPV... I doubt that he'll agree, so it'll probably be a stream/radio for me.

You're not exactly going to wait until you're in the ring and then start asking the ref what he's doing are you? Thats called being very shortsighted, and well...stupid. I'd be doing exactly the same thing if I was about to fight Klitschko, so would you. I'd want a world reknowned ref like Bayliss, not some random ****. Big fights need the best refs. Taking that kind of lacksadaisical attitude towards something as important as the ref is fine if you're fighting Mother Theresa, but quite frankly this fight is in Germany and Klitschko is a known holder.

Imagine the ref that reffed the Haye Ruiz fight was chosen. The ref that didn't penalise Haye for blatant rabbit punching. And imagine Wlad said he wasn't gonna put his titles on the line because he didn't like that referee. There would be uproar here calling Wlad every name in the book, and rightfully so.

I'll tell you what's transparent, it's transparent that this simply a ploy for Haye to keep his belt because he knows it's likely he won't win the fight.

In a close fight a team should press for every possible advantage as hard as they can. It makes good sense, you narrow your margins. Every little helps.

I don't think Haye cares about the WBA belt if he's going to retire. I think its far more likely he wants a ref that will punish repeated holding, but hey...can't question your incisive reading between the lines. Theres obviously far more to it than meets the eye.

TBH I think even if the WBA belt wasn't on the line Haye would be stripped by the WBA if he lost on Saturday. Other than depriving Wlad of an extra belt its a non-issue from Hayes point of view.

As if Haye gives a **** about the belt, he's gone in October anyway.

Haye will have another fight after Wlad, win or lose. Still being able to call himself a title holder will help him.

Haye is being a *****, plain and simple. The ref has been picked, get the **** over it and get in the ring for the unification fight we have being waiting for.
