Not every fight has to have meaning and potential to be classic. Steward said that wlad is working on his upper cut so he needs to practice landing it outside sparring sessions. Wlad enjoys fighting, i bet he enjoys the money. Why not do some stretching before tough exercise. If by dinner you mean Haye or Povetkin than I would eat turn because catching that chicken dinner might not be so easy.

no chisora is not rated higher than harrison. he is ridiculously inexperience, and has never been beyong 8 rounds until the sexton rematch.

fighting chisora will not make haye look bad, it will make wlad look bad. challengers wanting haye is a seperate issue, we are discussing wlad here.

wlad should be fighting one of solis, valuev, thompson, arreola.

they would enhance his legacy.

if he wants an easy fight he should fight james toney, the guy has been begging for a fight nearly ten years now.

what wlad should not be doing, is fighting the current british champion.

seriously now. the heavyweight division is supposed to be the best division in boxing. it is the division young kids dream they can conquer.

but what will we see, we sill the last 3 title fights of this year being the following

wlad - chisora
haye - harrison
vitali - briggs

what was the last meaningful victory either of these guys had?

chisora spanked sam sexton, between them they have about 20 fights.
harrison spanked sprott, between them they have about 20 losses.
briggs spanked lyakhovic 4 years ago now as it?

is this really what it is coming to?

i dont just blame the champs either.

look at the contenders.

solis who will he fight is wlad dont man up? probably a bum.
arreola will probably fight a bum
povetkin will probably fight a bum
chagaev? he probably wont fight anyone

the top fighters are ALL taking one **** opponents. it is all too easy to put the blame on just one fighter, but noone is having a meaningful fight.

it is disgraceful. if it was just haye fighting loserrs, and the klits where crushing the top ranked opponents then ye fair enough. but the year is going to end with the 3 above fights, and no challengers taking each other on.

how anyone can defend this division atm is beyond me.

 

Carl Williams didn´t have more experience than Cisora when he fought Larry Holmes in 85, yet he gave him a hard fight. So don´t rule out a young and hungry fighter. This would be the fight of his life and i bet Chisora would give it his all. Cause of that china chin there´s always the chance of seeing Wlad getten flattened. And it´s much more possible when he´s in there with someone who´s aggressive and looking for a KO.

if he wins, so what? chisora is ranked about 40 in the world.

spin it as much as you want, this is a garbage fight. i'd rather he sat the date out and waited for somebody credible to man up next spring.

I can't believe people want to see Toney take punches from Wlad. They must hate Toney. Do you want the guy to even be able to tie his shoelaces when he's done fighting? Toney doesn't belong in a boxing ring anymore. See his last boxing match (as opposed to MMA) with Greer for evidence. He got badly hurt in that fight before pulling it out.

 

i would prefer to see chisora fight for the title if he loses 20-25 pounds and has 10 more fights, which means he might be able to have a punchers chance? wlad by boring and infuriating demolition which lasts 10 rounds when it should last 2. I like chisora, and ithink he's a good pros[ect but this would be way to early and could just about ruin his carreer because wlad beats on people for ten rounds or more berfore sparking them out.
