Who is Wlad denying a shot to? He can't get most of these guys to fight him.

It's a Creed Balboa scenario in reverse. I like it.

It also puts pressure on hayefaker as the British media will get plenty of copy from Wladimir Klitschko to put in their articles about hayefaker.

Toney should have kept his mouth shut. He unfairly and disgracefully denigrated the Klitschkos for years and for that he deserves a good ol fashion ass whoopin beatdown.

So if Wlad takes this fight and beats Chisora around the rin for 5 rounds before he knocks him out then maybe in 6 years Haye can fight Chisora....

I don't know a hell of alot about Chisora but Haye being put on the floor by Monte Barret definately doesn't look good for him considering what wlad did to Monte years ago.

Wlad may not be fighting the best competition in this next fight but he has proven that he will stay busy and in shape wich is more than I can say for 98% of the heavyweight division.

It's always the same before a Klitschko fight....the haters either claim wlad will get flustered and KO'd or that his opponent is a bum...the fans will say it's the best fight out there and his opponent has a real shot. but wlads had a high work rate and one hell of a winning streak for a number of years so as the king of the division he can fight anyone he wants until Haye or someone with a legit chance steps up and really wants to fight

I can't disagree that bigmouth deserves the beating.

I'm not sure I'd want to see it, though.

I agree, mostly. I don't think Chisora has much of a chance, but in lieu of anyone much better being ready and willing to get in the ring on Dec. 11, cleaning out the division is a good strategy. And Wlad will get plenty of UK press in which he can put the heat on Mr. Haye, which I'm sure is a consideration here.

Let's be honest what's really going on here. We all know what happened with Haye the K2 wouldn't meet him on the ppv deal. Solis is not going to take the fight for pennies on the dollar when he can become mandatory thus giving him some leverage when K2 tries to low ball him. Mormeck (who is no better than Chisora) wouldn't take the low ball deal. K2 is looking for an opponent to take thier low deal. Nothing more nothing less. It's almost like they are bidding out to the lowest bidder.

What heat can Wlad put on Haye. The only thing stopping this fight is the PPV revenue either Haye has to give in and take K2's 50/50 split even though the K2 tv deal isn't a good thing for Haye or K2 can take Haye's PPV spilt even though it isn't a good thing for K2. What difference does it make if Wlad puts on an entertaining show (for the first time in a long time) and gets some chatter in the UK why would that make Haye take a deal that is not good for him?

Yea this is 6 of 1, half dozen of the other. Everyone (including Chisora's camp) has to know he's not ready to fight Klitschko but it has to be difficult to turn down the $ and a chance at the heavyweight championship. I actually respect Povetkin/Atlas (can't believe I'm saying that). Someone like Haye who is talking trash but won't fight either Klit can be called a coward. Someone who says theyve had less than 20 fights and aren't ready to step that far up in competition I can respect.

    no chisora has NO CHANCE

he is fat out of shape bum, he gases out after 4 rounds, he is sam peter minus the chin and power but alittle more handspeed.

wlad vs chisora is like floyd vs mathew hatton.

Chisora should get a ranking which gives him a chance......but there are guys ranked higher with more time in the rankings who want the fight.

Chauncy Welliver is Rated in the top 10, has a fight scheduled for Dec. 11th, just in case. He will be the back up to the back up. Unlike most of these fools, he wants to wring Wladimir's neck! No Fear Welliver!

Chisora should be rated 13th or so next month.

Jeez, imagine how much hate Wlad would be getting if he announced a fight with Welliver! But it may well happen cause Welliver's is one of very very few who seem to want the fight.

Rumor has it that Chisora wants the fight but Warren isn't keen on it. We'll see if the people around Chisora are able to talk him out of it.

The only way this is a bad move for Chisora is if he ends up getting badly hurt.....I guess that's not too far out of the realm of possibility. Otherwise it boosts his name recognition and credibility as an elite boxer.

Chisora is ranked 5 in britain behind haye, harrison, sosnowski and skelton.

he aint in the top 40 of the world.

he has never been beyond 9 rounds.

    he is not a name.

    he has no fanbase.

this an all round **** fight that would mean briggs is the best opponent either champ will be facing next.

shannon fukin briggs who has beaten 1 live opponent this decade, is the most worthy challenger out of the 3.

and people wonder why the division gets slated?P
