But he's fought better competition than Derek "****ing" Chisora.

Perhaps you should take a closer look at this proposed fight and you'll realise what a piece of **** it is?

Being spit roasted by the Klitschko brothers is probably distracting you though.

I guarantee you that will be a better performance than Chisora will display.

"Credibility is in the eye of the beholder"?????

You mean no matter how **** it is, some idiot will thinks it's ok?

The heavyweight division is weak... if you compare them with the Klitschkos today.

Most of these guys would be the equal of contenders decades before.

Yes it would be a crap fight but there is no one willing to fight WK so its better than nothing. Hidemaker is fighting Harrison, Povetkin is not even making excuses he knows he is not ready. Rest of the semi good challengers either need more time or preparing to fight someone.

    I disagree.

Its a meaningless, mismatch of a fight that does nothing for his resume or bank balance and will just bring critisism.

If I were hungry, I wouldn't eat a turd just because it's there. I'd wait for dinner.

Better opponent then Mormeck and Tua. At least Chisora is young and might be hungry for the win.

    He's not though.

He's a domestic British level fighter who's yet to prove he's capable of fighting on the European stage, nevermind world stage.
And certainly not challenging for a world title against the number 1 heavyweight on the planet.

    Rubbish.

Have you seen Tua's and Mormeck's last fights? I would rather see a young fighter with a small chance of 'coming of age' in a major fight rather then the guaranteed slaughter of two badly faded fighters who are just coming for a paycheck. Same goes for Toney, the last thing i want to see is him wobble his fat ass to Germany and get more brain damage. Maybe even if he loses Chisora looks decent and it helps him develop his career.

Chisora also beats both Mormeck and Tua today.

Rather than the guaranteed slaughter of someone coming just for a paycheck?

    That is Chisora!

And no, he doesn't beat Mormeck or Tua. He didn't even look that great against Sam Sexton. Another British level fighter.

I think Chisora beats Oquendo and Barret. Both those guys got robbed against Mormeck and Tua respectively.

Whatever, I see what your're saying. Klistchko should fight Solis or Boystov. But who knows if either of those would even accept.

I would rather see Wladimir fight Chisora rather then sit out the rest of the year.

Chisora did impress me in his last fight, I know it was against Sexton but.....im just clutching at straws here. The division is garbage and all the decent contenders won't fight him this year.

    Chisora has nothing to lose.

If he loses people will say he was still a novice with very little experience.

If he makes a good account of himself, it will at least raise him above domestic level, and show that the potential is there.

I think it's safe to say that he's outgrown the domestic scene now.

I'm assuming this is simply talk at the moment and Wlad probably faces someone else or skips his December date altogether. From the little I've seen of Chisora he is a possible prospect but has almost no chance against Wlad.

I'd prefer a more experienced opponent for Wlad to face but there aren't a lot of them that Wlad hasn't already beaten or will even face him. I'd like to see a better opponent and don't have much interest in this fight but I don't have a problem with Wlad taking it, if it does happen.

Over the last several years Wlad has faced top fighters fight in and fight out. Most of his opponents are rated in the top 5 or atleast the top 10. Wlad either faces the best or is avoided by them. He has earned the right to face anyone he chooses for his Dec. fight and I don't think for one second he'll make a habit of facing opponents like Chisora instead of the top guys.

Wlad should get to choose who he wants to fight every now and again.

    Who is left to fight?

Maybe a Thompson rematch would be more competitive than any other option, but probably not lucrative for Wlad, who beat the guy barely 2 years ago.

If Solis is out, that leaves Ibragimov, Tua and Rossy. Better then Chisora? Debatable. I guess Pianeta and Helenius are out or haven't been approached?

Mormeck is apparently out so Chisora might be the best choice business-wise, and not awful sporting wise.

Chisora is still undefeated. Maybe if Wlad teams up with Warren he can milk the UK market.
