hmmmmm, he could stun him with his arm punches and score knockdowns if he gets wlad on the ropes, i doubt he could KO him though, i guess.

edit: he could tko him in the corner/against the ropes, no way he gets a ten count though.

Vitalis career defining fight came against Lennox Lewis in 2003. Pity that fight too left us with more questions than answers about Vitali's legacy:rasta

I don't think Vitali neccesarily stops him. But I can see Vitali making him pull a Kingpin; making him so focused on not getting hit that he loses a near shut out

Bull doo doo. He beat every1 they put in front of him. Yall done forgot the mauling he's given everyone that was supposed to beat him. Let alone Teddy Atlas picking him to lose to Ray Austin was the most hilarious thing ever.

I think Vitali's power gets overrated by his die-hards. Even his insane punch output has been matched by a few other heavies. What makes Vitali unique is the angles and types of punches he throws. His arms seem to detach from his torso and act independently. Watching the Arreola fight, I told my wife that before the fight was over, Vitali was gonna be mixing in some high kicks! I had never seen another heavyweight fight like that. Now I personally prefer the more classic Lewis/Bowe style. But having said that, I fail to see how anyone can not appreciate Vitali. The Arreola fight made me a fan and I've been waiting for Vitali to fight another one dimensional slugger ever since.

Well i dont look at his chin like haters, meaning its glass, but the fact is he doesnt have the best chin, and Wlad doesnt have much heart, he gives to much respect to his opponents, and if he gave that much respect to Vitali he would take advantage of that, and no way Wlad would be able to survive dirty rough fight!!! but i see possibly Wlad puling Kingpin:)

To me the meaning of "career defining fight" would be one where he mightily had to struggle to eek out a win, come back from down on the cards and KO somebody or something that got the world talking. This I haven't seen. He survived Sam Peter, but he had been dominating that fight, so I wouldn't really call it career defining. I doubt we ever see this, but who knows. To me if the guy ever gets in serious trouble he's gonna be losing, like with Brewster and Sanders. I don't think he possesses the heart or will if things aren't going exactly his way in the ring. Which is why to me he is boring to watch, never takes a chance, seems to think he gets charged to throw right hands and so on. Either way, he's been dominant, but its boring to me, but I do respect his accomplishments.

Vitali's career- defining fight to me was against his TKO loss to Lennox Lewis. He showed that he actually had heart and he was winning the fight up until the TKO.

Wladimir did prove he knew how to tie up a fighter better when he was in Trouble against Peter. If I had to give him one that would probably be it. Not as strong as Vitali's, but If I had to play devils advacate I'd give him that.

Wlad has, his fight against Samuel Peter in 2005! Great fight from both. Wlad shows he can fight.

Wlad was down in 2004 and he fights his way back to the top, this is more important than one fight.

Wlad is a great Champion today, No. 1 heavyweight with the help of Emanuel Steward. Great team.

    :good

Everyone!! He unifies the titles. And i hope he can unify the WBC belt too. This would be the first time in boxing history, a Champion has all 4 belts at the same time.

  15. I don't want to see them face each other. I don't see how it would be any different.
Face it,Wlad will not be an all time great ever. The only thing that can be said about him in 30 years is that "he was once the heavyweight champion." Nothing special from a historical standpoint. He's not the best boxer,he is not the hardest hitter,he doesn't have the best chin,he didnt have any exceptional wins etc. He was once the heavyweight champion. Not many people can say that they were once the HW champion. Wlad is a good guy and a good champion for this era.
