Wlad beats Vitali. Definitely.

He has better footwork, a longer reach, better handspeed, more power, very good at cutting off the ring (not that he'd have the chance) he does have the fortitude to get up if he's put down...

The only area I would favour Vitali was in ability to take a punch really.

Wlad doesn't lunge in.......it's not as if he is going to have to jump at Vitali and then get caught with a counter

I can agree with people saying Peter but to be honest he doesnt necessarily have one, Peter was the turning point

But its hardly his fault, he came and dominated a transitional era

Lewis, he had greats before him to beat on

Tyson had greats before him to beat on

Wlad he had like Byrd and Ruiz and guys like that out there he could of beat a really old Evander or tried to get Lennox out of retirement or Tyson but he chose not to beat on the shells of greats

also some fighters beat a guy who goes on to be great, the Klitschkos have been dominant for so long that none of the guys they beat can ever achieve something to make that win look better

the brothers have created a glass ceiling in the division and have dominated a long time

some times great division dominators go on unappreciated like Hagler and Hopkins were for yrs but then Oscar and Tito fell into ones lap and then Sugar Ray and Hearns fell into another

Wlad had Haye move up and that could of been his big win but it was a domination with no drama

Wlad dominates to the point where it makes good fighters look like bums and nobody gives him credit

guys like Peter and Chambers and Brock and Chagaev and Ibragimov all could have been successful champs without the brothers around

if Wlad had a great opponent to beat he would fight and beat the guy but he just got **** out of luck

 

Finally, I can agree with this.

I always felt there is only one man that can outbox Vitali...Wlad.

Without the Ks all the so called "bums" would go on to become ATGs. Bird, Chambers, Povetkin, etc. Do enjoy Ks while they are out there, nothing like that was seen before or will be seen again in the forceable future.
