Does Wladimir not hire another seasoned trainer like Stewart, because he thinks he knows more about boxing than anyone else?

I think Wladimir only has Jonathan Banks in his corner, because he provides comfort, and to bounce ideas off. I think Wladimir himself is the real trainer who makes up the correct tactics for each oppoent.

What do you think the purpose of Jonathan Banks is? Do you think Wladimir really follows his advice?

How would Wlad have done if he got John David Jackson or Ronnie Shields as a trainer after Steward died?

I think Banks gave him the wrong message if he didn't command Wlad to finish Joshua, I heard him say stuff like he can't outbox you, which is dubious and turned out wrong per two cards. Steward would have given Wlad that 1% or 2% extra that would have got him the stoppage. I've no doubt about that.

Sorry but i suspect had Steward been in there for Fury, Jennings & Joshua he would have been a bit more clinical & advised better. Vitali is not a trainer!! If he was WK would never have employed Steward! His age is a huge factor here though admittedly (Old legs, old lungs) he was gassing towards the end..

Klitchsko put on a much better performance than anyone could've seen coming, especially after that Tyson Fury debacle. But I do believe if Manny Steward was in his corner, there may have been a different outcome. Exceptional fighters didn't get that way on their own... RIP Manny!

WK of 4/5 years ago stops Joshua. Think Fury is an awkward opponent at any time.. Off set rhythm type fighter who can switch hit & is deceptively in a lot of departments.

What was the advice & how do you know?? Are you chef? It may not be on the trainer but that trainer has to inspire & be respected. Chemistry.. He also haves to give the CORRECT advice! I don't rate Banks really.. Probably a nice guy. Anyway whats done s done, respect to all concerned..

"Klitchsko put on a much better performance than anyone could've seen coming,' i guess you dont follow my posts!

I never mentioned Steward only that Wlad got solid advise.and its on the fighter at that point, there have been literally plenty of wlad fights where he had to get loud with wlad ...Vitali has no say about Wlad???i'll stop there! lol

Can you imagine if Wlad hired Roach for the rematch. :D He's worked with him before. The headlines that would make and also the strategic improvements it would bring with Wlad.

He is not willing to get out of his comfort zone and try different ideas
