Are you trying to tell me that Haye is better then Holmes? get that **** out of here. Holmes would never try to RELY on the lucky punch like Haye did AND Holmes had better footwork so he can actually punch and be in position when he's dancing.

And I doubt Haye hits harder then Holmes. Haye has 6 fights at heavy and stopped people there but against AWFUL opposition. There is nothing in his resume that suggests he has legit power. at cruiser obviously he was a good puncher.

Wlad does not match up well against him. he will never get set up and Holmes will always be able to clinch and survive if he gets in trouble. Plus the movement will give Wlad absolute hell. It's something he has never seen before. Yeah Wlad has very good right hand power but Holmes had one of the best chins in the game and recuperative powers as well. and the guy is proven to take a punch.

Holmes wins this one. It's a given.

Other picture doesn't have them standing straight up, this one does.

Wlad has probably 3 inches on him.

If that is odd, then it shouldn't be. You have listed 3 great fighters who are worth being fans of.

Bear in mind that Holmes is now in his sixties and will be a little shorter than what he was as a young man.

Who has Wlad stood up to that was a bigger puncher than Earnie Shavers, Gerry Cooney, Mike Weaver or James Smith?

Also, Larry was clearly far on the decline when he fought Michael Spinks, a prime Holmes would've knocked him out.

It should be mentioned that Holmes knocked out and dominated a prime Ossie Ocasio, and Lennox Lewis went the distance with an old Ossie. It all boils down to styles, and imo with Holmes's superior jab, similar reach, better handspeed, solid right hand, better footwork, and better chin/heart he would be too much for Wlad. Wlad would lose the jabbing battle which leave Wlad befuddled.

I think he was between 6'3 and 6'4 but a little closer to 6'4. He was listed as 6'4 in various fights and was a bit taller than Ali, who was 6'3.

Yes, I'd say 3 inches minimum. I'm judging by the top of Holmes actual head, not his hair.

I'm laughing hard at people choosing Wladimir over Holmes, especially by TKO.

The pic from the OP is tilted, this one is more realistic:

Because Holmes is a genuine 6'3 n maybe slightly more, Haye is 6'1. Wlad definitely looks close to 6'7 in those pics. Despite what Chef says. :hey

    Good pics thanks for sharing.
