This is the problem with people and critics. Wlad totally dominated a undefeated HW belt holder, who was a silver medalist (losing a controversial decision to Felix Savon, I believe) with a stellar amateur career in Ibragimov.

He showed no weaknesses or glaring deficiencies and completely dictated the fight at his pace.

YES, it was boring and he didn't take any chances (meaning the fight was underwhelming with the media hype and spectacle of unification, though most of this had to do with Ibragimov's reluctance to do anything), but he didn't have too, doesn't hurt his standing as the most dominant HW since Lewis. Most people are criticizing his performance because he didn't knock out Ibragimov, but Ibragimov tried to survive and was waiting to counter.

It's all about styles and Ibragimov is a very difficult style to fight, let alone beat and Klitschko handled him with ease.

Wlad wins his fights with crafty well thought out self preservation.. Tyson won his fights with fury and tenacity.. Give me fire in the fighters belly every time.. Wlad is good but entertaining no one..

I do not think the fight was that boring. Wlad was technical and strategically brilliant. If you like jabs, footwork, and defense this was a good fight. If you like a war, the fight was dull. The first six rounds were dull, the last six were not. Wlad rocked Iggy a few times, was likely robbed of a knockdown, and won a big fight 10 rounds to 2.

When an orthdox fighter faces a speedy / gun shy counter punching southpaw, you are going to get a stinker of a fight. There are many yahoos who say the fight was dull, but most of them do not understand what was going on in the ring.

The significance of this fight was an A+, but the result was a C-. In the end this is only one fight. The next one will be much better.

Are you so STUPID that you don't know styles make fights? Maybe you should do a little research or read a little bit and realize PEOPLE HAVE BAD STYLE MATCHUPS AND BAD FIGHTS.

Jesus the madness at ESB is beyond recognition.:-(

I second that. Although I must point out that the list is incomplete. You left out Rocky Balboa, King-Kong, Chuck Norris and Jesus Christ.
