No. One of those who puts Vitali over Wladimir and gives him a pass on very rudely ****-blocking Li'l Brudder in his attempts to dominate the division with his little attention ***** comeback - on the basis that he's "better for the division" and "makes for better fights".

While not a Wladimir nuthugger per se, I'm very firmly in the camp that believes he's head and shoulders above Vitali H2H right now - and that on the strength of both that fact and the solid work he's done without any downtime, he deserves to have the division to himself instead of having to share the glory (even though they both always spoke of a parallel reign in idyllic tones).

Vitali gobbling up resume-enhancers like Povetkin, Haye and Adamek before (or instead of) Wladimir would be even more egregious acts of ****-blocking - one might even say a total eclipse of the ****. :verysad Wladimir is the one who still gets doubted and nitpicked worse than Vitali (who people seem to be more lenient with due to his layoff/age/injuries). Wlad needs those big wins more to silence the critics, even though in a hater-free objective kind of world it would be patently obvious that his resume's better.

 

Asside from perhaps Adamek, I'm not particularly thrilled about any of those match-ups, but what the hell, he's at least keeping busy.

It's kind of impressive, in this day and age, when a heavyweight champion decides to defend his title more than once or twice a year. So kudos to him for staying busy. I'll reserve additional entusiasm, though, until I see who they pick for an opponent.

Even comparing Foster's win over 39 years old Dick Tiger to Williams' win over Wright is wrong because Tiger was a 39 years old 160lber fighting against a 175lber at 175 as opposed to Wright being a 38 years old former 154lber who became a full fledged 160lber fighting against a former 147lber in Paul Williams at 160.

So even Foster's biggest win does not cope with Williams' win over Wright.

Also Foster was stopped already at 175 and Williams was not stopped at neither weight.

Actually Williams' career has its ups over Hearns' .
Williams avenged decisively his sole decision loss which I doubt its credibility , true , another conspiracy theory invented by myself , not that I am convinced about it so I will not argue about it.

 

You cannot call a prediction great or terrible when the fight hasn't even happened.

I'm not too interested in seeing Wladimir fight former light heavy Tomasz Adamek, but it's about the available best match-up right now which says a lot.

Boytsov will be interesting in two years, with Wladimir on the decline. If I were his management I would not rush it as Boytsov has not paid his dues at all, but then again in today's division you don't need to. I'd rather see some contender vs contender match-ups, establishing an actual pecking order below the #1 and #2 in the division instead of Klitschko picking the latest top ranking challenger who has put together three or more wins in a row against tomato cans.
