Yep and you dont mention the many good fighters this era has...
I dont say this era is great! But this era is not dog ****! Just dumb american dudes say it dog **** because they dont have any good heavyweights right now! And this is something some american boxing fans cant handle!
Charr is a good fighter! Also Adamek was when he was in his prime! Thompson would have been champion in the 90es when guys like Moorer or briggs could be champion!

Oh Vidic, you want to cherry pick? Let's play cherry picking. Some awful title challengers and belt holders of the 1990s:

    - Unknown Buster Douglas upsets Mike Tyson, then ballons up to 300 lbs to lose his linear HW belt to former CW Evander Holyfield. Who then loses his belt to former LHW Michael Moorer. Who then gets knocked out by 285 lbs 50 year old George Foreman. Yes, this is your "amazing 90s HW era". This **** is so ridiculous you couldn't make it up!
    - Eurobum Axel Schulz (nickname Axel Who?) gets 3 (!) title shots
    - An out of shape Francois Botha becomes IBF mandatory and gets a title shot
    - 48 year old Tony Tucker gets a WBA title shot
    - A completely untested Michael Grant gets a WBC titleshot
    - Riddick Bowe gets exposed by former Polish nightclub bouncer Andrew Golota. Not once, but in two consecutive fights.
    - Tony Hipp (who?) gets a WBA title shot
    - Bruce Seldon becomes world champion
    - 50 year old George Foreman gets a title shot and (!) becomes world champion with a single lucky punch, after losing 10 rounds to former LHW Michael Moorer
    - Eurobum Henry Akinwande (who?) gets title shot vs. Lennox Lewis, and gets DQ due to excessive holding
    - Oliver McCall, still in drug rehab, becomes mandatory to WBC title and gets 2nd title shot

And you're telling me shitty contenders are only getting title shots in the last 24 months? This kinda **** never went down in the 90s? :deal

This is something many fans cant see! Every heavyweight era has it ups and downs! Only boxing "fans" with no clue about the past and about boxing would say that this era is **** and that the 90es and 80es were great.

Were they awful contenders that I listed, or are they the chronological **** oppposition that the best two fighters in the division have faced? because I think it's the second option.

If I wanted to charrypick I would have added names like Sosonowski, 40 year old Briggs, Sanders, 40 year old Rahman etc

But I did not. There is no twisting the facts here

If you feel the posting of such opponents means YOU have to cherrypick the worst matchups/results of the 90s then you clearly have as much as aproblem with the opposition of today as I do

Why do you hate Wladimir Klitschko, Faerun?

Patterson was down more times than Wladimir in his career.

Wladimir hasn't hit the canvas for nearly ten years.

and yet Thompson, unable to even land a title shot in his prime during the early 2000s, was gifted world title shots approaching/into his much faded should be retired 40s. gifted by the Ks.

bizzarely you proved this is a weaker era, when trying to prove the opposite.

His nickname was not "Axel Who?", but "The G.ay Giant" or "Axel Schwul(z)".

this is an outright lie, he was 37, not unreasonable for a former champion to be given a title tilt.

another compltel lie, Grant had won a minor world title and defended the NABF title several times and fought a wold title eliminator.

    Goloto wasgood. ANother lie.

one 'who'? theres who's in every decade, but more today like Charr and Pianeta and the other guy no one remembers.

former Olympic gold undisputed undefeated champ, the most destructive seen, being an exception, this is a problem for you so much youhave to pretend hes 50?
    another lie!

    theres a pattrn here...

What do your threads tell us about you Fae卐run?

You were permanently banned from the 'scene for your hateful generalizations about Polish boxers.
