i aint a fan but he should be in there from a while ago. logically speaking now theres no need to have him lower then number 6. p4p seems like a damn popularity contest instead of being based on acheivements opponents beaten and talent.

    It's a significantly meaningful milestone.

which is good for them like david haye if he managed to beat up on the klits, but it's not as good for the klits who are the ones beating up on the smaller guys.

I'm not a huge fan of Wladdy's style but I agree with this. He was already unified and beat another current belt holder, undefeated, and very crafty, and he did it in another lopsided shutout like with Sultan. (But far more excitingly than with Sultan :good) I think he deserved to be on there after that too. Just as much or more than Caballero did when he went on there, to be fair.

I think it's very unfair that heavyweights are seldom recognised as top p4p fighters. People seem to think think if someone like Wlad was a middleweight he'd get whooped cause he's too slow...I guess it never occurred to them Wlad would be almost 100lbs lighter as a middleweight and would be very fast. I'm not even a fan of Wlad. I find him quite boring but his skill is undeniable. Wlad is a more dominant champ than any other fighter, even Pacquiao so he deserves a spot on the list. Fighters get too much recognition for being multi weight fighters and champs. I don't really care if Pacquiao is a title holder in 8 divisions (I think?) since there's only like 6 pounds separation between them and in the old days there only were 8 divisions. Fact is the heavyweight champion woud beat any of the top p4p fighters in a real fight so he automatically should be in the top 10.

You have 26 days to find how many rounds can Peter steal from Wlad, and Wlad finally in the p4p list. :thumbsup

Great!!! In my opinion, he should be higher, but I am happy to see him on the list.

It's akin to getting your foot in the door and the way Wlad has been dominating it's going to be very hard to push him off the list.

Puting SNV on the p4p list of mere mortals is an insult and would blemish his resume

you can't compare pacquiao to klitschko. manny is beating guys who are bigger and are recognised top fighters in their division while wladimir is doing very well in one division, his own division, whilst manny pacquiao is beating some top fighters in multiple weight divisions.

wladimir has not beaten one very good fighter, you can't say the same for pacquiao.

I consider Byrd, Chagaev, Chambers and Ibragimov to all be very good fighters.

    Its about time!

Anyone notice that Wlad has slowly risen in people's estimation? I read some posts on ESB in 2008, and 2009, and some people who where very harsh on him before were complementary to him (generally) now. I don't think its a single fight that changed the attitudes, but the sheer amount of time he's been dominant, 5 years.

If he can continue on his domination well into this decade, he will be regarded as a great heavyweight if only for his longevity and length of reign.

He cant be compared to mere mortals who populate the P4P lists.
