If you like these kind of fighters you are wrong in heavyweight boxing. Big guys dont use head movement. It is more seen by smaller guys or small heavyweights.
Go watch the lighter divisions. In heavyweight boxing you dont see these kind of boxing skills very often. Especially not from big ass heavyweights. Total different game. For big guys it is also possible to go back in straight lines. They have the reach to keep theire opponents away. And to parry hard ass shots and to counter punch in the same moment is also not that easy in the heavyweight division like it is in the lightweight division.
Heavyweight boxing is a different boxing game. Maybe it is nothing for you.
I dont say there are no boxers in this division who fight like this. But it are not many.

He has to look at the way Holyfield fought Valuev (I understand he's not Wlad by any means), wait for his 1-2 combo and then explode inside the intermediate range with his own combinations.

The problem was he was trying to explode straight from the outside and with only one Hayemaker in his arsenal to land (Low Percentage).
The main key is for him to stay in that zone/range instead of backing out and then coming in from the outside. If he can apply his mentality against smaller opponents against Klitschko, it becomes a interesting fight.

p.s I didn't realize how entertaining Sugar Nikolai Valuev was, downloading his fights.

 

Wlad is useless..He has no offensive skill and has no clue how to string a combination of punches together...He has no timing or compousure to his punch output and cant finish to save his life...
