Sad that we don't good Yanks ranking in the Top Ten as in the old days. Somewhere there has got to be a handful of Ali's, Frazier's, and Dempsey's.

Whoever typed up that article is a moron.

''unfortunately Wilder is not yet ranked to be an official challenger to Klitschko.''

    Wlder is currently WBO#4 WBA#6 WBC#3.

In Klitschko land no ranking gets you a fight faster than being in the top 10. Just ask Mormeck, Wach and Pianeta. Thompson only had a ranking with the IBF and no other org.

You reckon he'll rank ahead of Karelin when all is said and done?

Wilder is a joke.. Wlad would probably knock him out with a jab.

All this talk about Wilder when Wladimir Klitschko's name comes up. Some people make it sound like WK would duck Wilder. I don't think that is accurate at all. Not even close.

If WK were to fight and KO Wilder next, what would some of you have to say? The truth is, Wilder is nowhere near ready to face a Klitschko.

True. Wlad would probably KO Wilder faster than he KO'd Ray Austin(who could probably beat Wilder) and all of the Klitschko detractors would change their tune once again and call Wilder a bum.

Haye spent the entire fight on the bicycle. Wlad will chop Wilder down.

Great point Wlad grabs and holds non top 10 boxers all of the time. I no longer call Wlad fights fights due to his non legal style.

Haye sure did well didn't he  :rofl

Wlad would have ko'd Gaye, but unfortunately he ran and fell to his knees for 12 rounds. Wach was bigger than Wlad... Hits hard and has a granite chin, Wlad schooled him.

Wilder has a glass jaw, and only has a right hand.... He is wide open for the counter when misses with his right and any live body would be able to capitalize on that. Windmilling Wilder would get destroyed by Wlad, and you detractors would have to look for someone else to back against the Klitschkos. must be sad to be a hater.

If it isn't a mandatory defense, he can fight whoever he wants. I agree that the Mormeck fight was a joke but Wach, Pianeta and Thompson were as deserving as anyone else at the time...except Povetkin and Pulev, IMO.
