I wish I could be on board with him, he's such a great guy. But I'm not getting behind a guy who is afraid to engage his opponents. Great Power, Great speed and an overall great athlete, but the guy doesn't want to fight.

Jermain Taylor used to be criticized a lot for not knocking out
opponents and dominating them on his march to the middleweight
championship. Being the honest guy he was he stated in a boxing
article that if an opponent just covers up, hides his chin and moves
away not willing to engage it is almost impossible to look good
against him much less K.O. him. I think that explains the Klitschko
fight tonight. When people seriously try to fight and box with
either Jermain or Wlad the fights are explosive and exciting. Sultan
just tried to survive and thus a boring but effective win for Wlad.

    Well done WALDO.

Screw these damn belts - I hope that he unifies them and throws them off a cliff.

If he fights Povetkin next it will be a war. A.P. doesn't play games and
comes to fight. Wlad will have to fight or get blown out of there.
I think Wlad might have one of his finest performances against A.P.
Both these guys are in their respective primes and have great
amatuer credentials. I think both will hit the canvas during the fight.
Everybody will forget about this boring beatdown.

Nobody who matters will care. Howver, his hardcore haters on here will try to live off of it of the next couple years.

It has been a rough 4 years for the Wlad haters.

I cannot understand how someone could be a Wlad fan or be proud of his performance. What he did tonight was embarrassing.

Ignorance! Vlad made it look so easy. Look what he did to Austin, Brock and the rest. Vlad will stop Povetkin. I just watched the fight again and was actually impressed, although I like when he knocks his opponents out much better. Vlad was booed when he stopped Austin in the second round. I did not hear anyone complain about Lewis Mirovich, Tua, etc. Larry Holmes decisions or Ali. Vlad did not ever get hit, won it so easily.

Yes, it is always embarrasing to shut out an undefeated Champion who refuses to engage with you. I agree... how pathetic. I mean... this is already the 2nd guy in 7 years who has gone the distance with Wlad. He is really slipping. According to ESBers he should end every fight within a few rounds.

Yeah, Vlad is so bad that he won the gold medal in 1996, world military champion, two time WBO champion, IBF/IBO champion. Vlad made the fight look so easy.

He was landing right hands when he threw them. Wlad refused to take absolutely any risks. He could have had him out of there at any time, but instead he decided to coast 12 rounds. He went around tv shows during the last few weeks promoting the fight and he put up an embarassing performance. I'm not going to argue anymore.. it pisses me off that boxing fans can be a fan of this guy. There are more skilled fighters out there giving their all in every fight, making a fraction of Wlad makes. His performance was a ****ing joke. He showed again how mentally weak he is. He's a scared fighter.. always was and always will be. Povetkin will stop him.

And who cares if Ibragimov was an "undefeated champion"? He was a shaky-chinned B level opponent who he had no trouble landing anything against. Even Steward didn't like what Wlad was doing. You're a nuthugger. Wlad makes Floyd Mayweather look like Erik Morales.

Vlad was more impressive that Ali, Holmes, Lewis in their decisions. Vlad made it look so easy.

Sure he does... as I said before... his 44 knockouts in 50 fights show that. You must not watch much boxing.
