I watch a lot of boxing and I enjoy watching great champions who represent the sport well and give their all in fights. 44 knockouts over who? C levels? Nevermind.. you can't argue with a wlad nuthugger.

Right, all C level opponents.... the C Level #1 ranked Ring Magazine fighter, and longest standing Champ at the time Chris Byrd.

Boxing fans like you aren't needed. You obviously aren't a fan of boxing, you are a fan of knockouts. Everyone loves them, but most of us are not ******ed, and we understand that fighters don't retire with a 100% knockout percentage. Fights do go to decisions every once in a while. For Wlad, this is only the 2nd time in 7 years! Get a life.

Vlad is the best heavyweight in the world today, by far, and that is a fact.

damn huki. i respect you are obviously a huge povetkin fan. but considering that wladimir is all wrong for povetkin, im surprised you show this much dislike towards klitschko.

i mean, when wladimir knocks povetkin the **** out, will you just shrug it off or give wladimir his props. because i assure you... wladimir WILL hurt povetkin bad.

I don't give a **** about knockouts and I have probably watched more boxing in the last year than you have watched in your life. I appreciate great fighters who want to dominate their opponents to the best of their ability, make their fans proud, and GIVE 100%. Wlad isn't that kind of a fighter. He will never be, because he is mentally weak.

He hasn't only fought C levels, but his large KO record mostly consists of weak-chinned, shitty fighters that he built up his record with in Germany. He has great power and great skills. He could have stopped Ibragimov easily but he was scared to.

This isn't about Povetkin. Wlad put up an embarassing performance and his nuthuggers spin it as a domination. It was an olympic-style, safety-first domination. It wasn't a Calzaghe type, Hopkins-type, Pacquiao-type, etc. etc. type of domination where great fighters outclass their B level opponents to the best of their abilities. I will always be proud of Povetkin no matter how he does, because he is a true fighter and gives it his all. If I was a Wlad fan, I would be extremely dissappointed. Boxing is about more than just winning fights.

From Ruiz one expected nothing more. The ropes did save Sultan from going down, once.

jeus christ on a stick, what the hell do you expect from a man with a glass chin with in the ring with a man with over 85% KO's? 17/23, with no need to be over brave. And the guy was left handed, remember Sanders...I was there for that...got to be my money out of it some more.

Congratulations to Wladimir for winning the WBO belt.
I had him winning about 10 rounds in that fight.

What does it matter that Wlad beat a lot of soft touches in Germany early in his career? In the last years Wlad got KO victories over Chris Byrd, Calvin Brock, Lamon Brewster, Ray Austin, Jameel McCline, Frans Botha, Ray Mercer, Monte Barrett, Derrick Jefferson and Charles Shufford. That is not such a bad list of fighters at all.

Yeah . . . there's no denying. Wlad could have won that fight no matter what. I'm just dissapointed the way he got that title.

He could have shown the world why he deserve that those titles. :yep
