You're saying RTL wasn't sure they wanted the air the fight TWO days before it was set to take place? Is that what you expect people to believe? And since when have RTL shown any standards when it comes to opponents for Wlad?...Refrain from the bull**** fella, it can be seen from miles off.

How did he injure himself two days before the fight? A few days later he was taking full bodied swings with a golf club.

no... im talking a fight with Chisora NOW not then

I was asked about a fight with Chisora....

you dont think a TV network has influence on who a fighter fights?.....

they do by saying.."we wont buy that fight, BUT we will buy this one"... happens all the time RTL, Showtime, HBO, Sky etc

"put it this way - im not too upset the fight is not happening" Steward on Wlad vs Chisora

Wlad was playing golf anyway so its a strange back injury

Ok, my wrong... But we all know Wlad ducked Chisora because you all saw a fearless man at the press conference who was coming to brawl Wlad out of his comfort zone and his pushing Vitali to his limits confirms that..Not saying Chisora would of won, maybe he could of, they just didn't want to take the risk.

If Chisora can get more spring in those legs I feel he will take Wlad out. Don't think this fight will happen though..Too risky

Hilienus retired Peter. Chisora beat Hilenius black and blue.

I too have grown disinterested of Wladimir's opposition. Sometimes I even forget he's fighting on a weekend. But a lot of it has to do with people throwing up roadblocks to getting in with him. Povetkin for one seems like he doesn't want it. And Fury for all his talk is probably no different. If offered the chance it wouldn't surprise me if he declined on the grounds of not being ready.

Fury already was offered a fight. He did not take the chance. Was crying about the money. The truth is Fury is just not ready for Wladimir. Pulev wants to get mandatory (just like Fury). Helenius has injury after injury and also wont fight as a voluntary. Thompson was beaten twice. Adamek wont want this fight. He had the chance to get mandatory yet he ducked Pulev. Shows you how much Adamek wants a fight with Wladimir. Solis is fat and went live and death with a guy like Larsen. Price got KOed by Wladimir left over Thompson. Haye already lost to Wladimir. Stiverne is mandatory for Vitali. Wilder only fought bums (his record is even worse than Pianetas).
At the end it is really not that easy to get a decent opponent as a voluntary. You can say that K2 offers not enough money but at the end a voluntary fight is a big opertunity and all fighters still make more money as a voluntary than they could make if they fight other contenders.
Wladimir will fight a top contender this year. No doubt.

    Honest question Chef.

If contenders are reluctant to fight Wlad (as rediculous as it sounds), then shouldn't Wlad's team offer them more in an effort to get the fights made, as opposed to getting lower ranked fighters on the cheap (if that's how it works)?

    Thanks

All these people that supposedly dont want the fight just dont want to sign a **** contract with k2. Cant blame them. Their contracts are also a disgrace to boxing

Didn't Wlad pull out of the Chisora fight to fight Haye?
