wladimir gave an interview to a famous german newspaper and said that he is his own coach. that no one can tell him what to do. Steward just comes 4 weeks before the fight and makes a little bit strategy training and micro tuning.

    WLAD IS THE BOSS:deal

At this stage its pretty obvious Wlad knows what he needs to do.

This has been pretty clear already. In the corner between rounds when Manny is hounding Wlad to let his hands go and quit waiting, Wlad's told him essentially "back off Emmanuel, you're my employee and I'll KO him when I'm good and ready'

He doesn't really show the kind of respect to a trainer like a typical fighter would in a student/mentor relationship.

Well once you have learned all you need, and you are smart and have caught on, you don't need a trainer throughout the whole training. Steward coming only for 4 weeks is a good enough stretch of time. That's a whole month people. You guys act like he comes a day before the fight.

Wlad is a smart man, he is not Manny Pacquaio. Do you think Mayweather really needs his crackhead uncle there?

But lets not give Wlad too much respect here and through Steward under the bus, Steward is the sole reason why Wlad went on to have a great career at a period when he was all but done. He had a weird transitional period afterwards when Steward was getting Wlad to get used to everything and eventually Wlad mastered it. At this point the quality of opposition Wlad is fighting, he doesn't need to really train much different. I bet when he fought Haye, Steward was there more.

Lol lot of peeps getting their panties wet. Name me what top level fighter needs a trainer for beating up D level opponents, c'mon now let's not give Wlad merit for doing something any B level above fighter can do!
