it may be the case now, but it wasn't the case when they first joined up and manny completely transformed wlad as a fighter, constructing the blueprint and laying the essential groundwork for the fighter that wlad is today. wlad has been utilizing the style manny implemented for years now. it wouldn't make sense, especially since wlad is so dominant, that there would be any need for manny to continue coaching wlad in any traditional sense. wlad has learned everything from manny that has and will continue to keep him atop the heavyweight division. no, manny no longer coaches him, but that doesn't take away from the fact that manny is solely reponsible for the style change that has made wlad the premier heavyweight fighter for years.

    :good

    Absolut right.

Wlad does not need a coach for conditioning he is has a PHD for sportsscience! He mentioned in the interview for 4 weeks Steward is in camp to discuss tactics and boxing. They works as a team.

Emanuel Steward does not transformed Wlad, he was transformed from 1999 - 2003.

Wladimir does not say Steward is not my boxing coach, in the interview he was talking about training not "boxing" training. For this training Steward comes to the camp and Steward is very important for Wlad. He helps Wlad to bring the "old" Wlad back with better defence. But with Steward Wlad fights the way he wants!!!!! to fight, that´s a big difference.

Wladimir is a free person who chooses what he wants to do and what not. And this is called the Heavyweight Champion!

With Lewis it was not different.

 That is good stuff. . .

But you forgot the left hook! He throws that baby off the straight right. . . If he's REALLY, REALLY sure opponent poses no threat. . .

Thing is Wladimir is cerebral, and intelligent, he probably really does think like this in the ring.
