He definitely deserves to be top ten.

Get him the **** away from any top ten heavyweights.. This scumbag should have been disqualified in his own truly very competitive match ups (or wins) against Haye & Povektin... Absolute pathetic had no idea how to box without clinching every 15 seconds and leaning and pushing on opponents..

Right....NO heavyweight who gets beat up by fighters, doesn't rematch them but send his brother instead to do the job should belong in the top 10!

Of course he's not #1 , nowhere near but if the guy was clueless I don't think he'd have won an Olympic gold and dominated heavyweight boxing for nearly a decade do you? LOL.. & you obviously never watched Ali wrestle, bear hug & headlock the **** out of his opponents then? Try watching the Frazier fights for instance… he puts Vladimirs questionable tactics to shame in some of those .. many great fighters have done it pal, go watch Ward v Kessler or Whitaker v Oscar .... those were near wrestling matches.. Bernard Hopkins made a career out of adopting prison rules .. if you don't like him then fine, but I don't think we have to resort to 'scumbag' to describe him.. he only did what many others were allowed to do.. so stop crying & go get your jab

Resume aside, if you can't watch a minute of his footwork, balance, power, speed and see an ATG, then YDKSAB. Vladdo is a rare fighter and while he didn't have as much of his big bro's WAR mindset, you would be hard pressed to build a better boxer. The fact that he has a helluva resume and did it unblemished for a decade is no surprise.

WTF? Rating Sultan Ibragimov and Elmer Ray over Jack Freaking Dempsey?!?

He stayed the champion for soo long thanks to the lack of real contenders during his reign , and the fact that his brother, who promised their mother he would never beat up his baby brother, let him have the titles.

Usyk is 25th. LOL. I have to look up BoxRec's algorithm. It's a great site but that algorithm is wonky.

You seem to be full of hate. You are hating on Floyd in another thread, now you are hating on Wlad. They are both greats of boxing and if you can't see that, you're an idiot.

Superb skills for sure but completely unproven against serious heavyweights as yet - not really convincing enough against gatekeeper Chisora and seems to be conveniently pricing himself out of having to deal with Joe freakin Joyce of all people.

At Cruiser undeniably an ATG, but hasn't done anywhere near enough to be in the HW picture yet (and given the huge size difference between CW and HW these days may never be).

In terms of skill and being a great boxer he should rank very high, but resume is a big deal, he shouldn’t be number 1. Top 3 though
