People need to look at Mayweather's resume if they want to start having a go at an apparent 'ATG' cv. Floyd, probably the only 'ATG' in history never to have fought against an elite operator who was in his prime. Hell Floyd's resume is so pathetic that even the nothing fighter nobody Madonna is considered one of his greatest wins.

You CANNOT compare Joe Louis or even Larry Holmes boxing era's with Wladimir Klitschko's era, you just cant.
I have tons of respect for Joe Louis and Larry Holmes, two Top 10 greatest BUT look at the records of all three boxers and you can't say that Joe Louis fought more better opponents then Wladimir has done so far because that is incorrect.

You are the only one I have seen on here to insinuate that Maidana is one of Mayweather' greatest wins.

 

Mayweather thought it was a good idea to fight him twice. I think that speaks for it's self.

 

It says to me that Mayweather felt that he could sell a rematch because some people felt that the decision in the first fight was controversial. The same people that criticized Mayweather for rematching Maidana after the fact. All that being said, you are still the only one I have seen on here to even suggest that beating Maidana is some sort of great victory for Mayweather. Most posters had said that the fact that the fight was even somewhat competitive shows that Mayweather is slipping, hardly a great win for him.

 

The Madonna fights to me further highlight the blatant duck Mayweather has continued to do to khan. khan Beat Madonna with ease years ago and Mayweather wants none of that. It's shameful from Floyd. Especially so cause Khan's not even all that.

I remember the old era's where the top fighters used to fight each other regularly.

 

I have seen this with many fighters past and present where people remember things with rose tinted glasses or in many cases on here listened to folklore

 

Oh, so you feel Mayweather is ducking Khan? Who says Khan is a top fighter and what top fighters has he beat lately to deserve a go at Mayweather at 147? Khan still has questions to answer with Prescott and Garcia. lol
