not creating this for any other reason than to say that Wladimir Klitschko has become an unbeatable fighter in the Heavyweight Division. The only variable that will beat Wlad K is time. i truly believe that his brother wouldn't be able to beat him at this time.

    That's all!!:good

    "Who should Wlad fight?"

    - Someone with a pulse

    - Someone with good conditioning

    - Someone of equal size

    - Someone with a solid amateur background

    - Someone with real boxing skills

There is no such thing as an unbeatable fighter. That's for Fairy tales and Bert Sugar anecdotes. Wlad is the top man. But he sure as hell isn't unbeatable.

If you have the time machine that makes this possible, you're welcomed to prove it and bring somebody back.

I agree that no one is a truly unbeatable fighter, but I do think that Wladimir is sclose as it gets in boxing at this time. He is just as dominant as Manny Pac and Floyd Mayweather and gets 1% of the credit those mentioned fighters get.

That's because he doesn't have any Moselys and Cottos to fight against. It's not necessarily fair but guys like Pac and Floyd can jump up in weight for whole new divisions' worth of choices and have done so several times. It's not like Wlad can go "Oh, there's a good cruiser who wants to fight me or a great light heavyweight" and get better guys to bolster his rep by getting them in their weight class if he wins. But if he did, he might certainly lose.

Agreed... I really think that he's basically mastered the art of "fighting big" and, while he isn't the most exciting fighter, I really don't see any current HW throwing a variable at his formulaic style that he couldn't handle...:think.

Probably not soon. He really is careful and skilled. But, anytime you have a guy with an unreliable chin, you never know. If Terry Norris had a top notch chin, he'd have been damn near unbeatable in his time. I think Haye and Solis are guys that have the kind of power to get him, even though Solis has become a typical flabby modern heavy and Haye I don't think is nearly as skilled as Wlad. Wouldn't favor either of them but I can see the possibility of them catching Wlad. Haye is so fast and Solis looks like he used to pull taffy for a living.

He is so f'n boring to watch, maybe the most boring champion of all time. He isn't even put on tv in the US anymore b/c he's so damn boring. Paw the jab for 10 rounds then finally land the right late in the fight. If he fought the HW of the 80's and 90's he'd be average at beast.

Lennox got similar criticisms about boredom and that he wouldn't have been anybody that great in other eras and blah blah blah.

Yup...but, on the other hand, Wlad can't move to another weight and relinquish his title to avoid any fighters either...like someone most fight fans love to hate.:bush

What I find ironic with Wlad nowadays is that many people bring up his size as the reason why he's so dominant and others can't compete mainly for that reason.

Lennox Lewis was practically the same size but he wasn't spoken of in the same way...

Skills make Wlad the best, his size just adds to it.
