Exactly. When Lewis felt threatened by anyone (eg; Ruddock, Golota, Tua) his defence was watertight. It's exactly as you say, his defence wasn't as good most of the time, because it didn't need to be. Another good way of looking at it. I've noticed the Wlad fans are being quite respectful towards Lewis here. I think they realise the comparison is a kind one.
Very similar in the their styles. I'd said the only difference is Lewis was less cautious and would sometimes slug. Wlad is a mould of Lewis created by Steward!
@BRB That's a fair point. But at the end of the day he couldn't switch it up if he wanted to, because of his fear and confidence.
No, not at all. That's just over doing it. Very, very similar in a few aspects. If they were to ever fight, Lennox would be very sorry to think this.
What the hell do you mean "switch up"? If you mean, change his style and gameplan during a fight, well... he clearly has already done that one quite a few occasions if you watch his fights. He did it against Thompson, Chambers, and Brock right off the top of my head. He did it against Sam Peter as well. In the first fight, he used nothing but technical boxing ability... then in the second fight he changed up during the fight, sat down on his shots and slugged it out in the 10th.
Lennox wouldn't think that, if there were to fight Wlad would have a man his size bringing unbelievable pressure which he couldn't handle. Lewis would be aggressive like he was with anyone as big as him, Wlad would not cope with someone being able to penetrate his guard as Lewis would. Who let's not forget as a longer reach. Plus Lewis has an underrated inside game Wlad has none to speak of I would give Wlad 4 rounds at best. That's not underselling him thats just the way it would be. IMO
No **** Sherlock what? Lewis has a better chin? Is that an admission from a Klitite. WOW, i was right you are guys are being nice.
Lewis has already fought and beaten the better brother. Wlad would have been a much easier fight for Lewis.
It was BRB who used the term, which i then elaborated on. WTF caused Wlad to switch anything up in those fights, because it wasn't the non-competitive men infront of him. If your gonna question a common boxing term, then at least come up with better examples than these FFS. Your idea and my idea of switching things up is two different things. But you are the fabled Widdowmaker who knows nothing other than Klitschko. Wind your ****ing neck in mate
What a joker anyone who thinks Wlad is anywhere near the class of Lewis should go watch MMA cause they clearly know nothing about heavyweight boxing.
