I just want Wladimir to retire before he gets old overnight and gets knocked out by a mediocre fighter, fight Leapai, then Pulev and end his career knocking out Fury or Jennings. If he stays longer and gets knocked out then he hurts his rankings in the future, he needs to think about that.

You've got it all wrong man.

These are the last fights that the great champion is going to have before he retires.

    1. Alex Lepai
    2. Kevin Johnson
    3. Tomas Adamek
    4. Artur Szpilka
    5. Manuel Charr
    6. Audley Harrisson

Leapei is a mandate. Not worth dropping his title to duck Leapei.

KJ.....I think his days as a contender are over. He's got plenty of solid wins in his time, but can't put 2 together to save his life. He's become something of a Monte Barrett lately, essentially a gatekeeper.

Adamek.....well, if he gets this win over Glaskov, and dives headfirst into the WBA rankings.....Adamek would be wise to go the route of the WBA kiddie title. That is unless he feels it's time to cash out. And he's 36 himself.....he aint got all that many bigguns left in the tank himself.

Szpilka was exposed against Jennings......he showed great heart vs a brawler in Mollo, but Jennings kept his composure choosing only to bang after he'd been tagged. Szpilka would have to fight Molloesque opposition to make a route to the title, and there aint enough of em rated. No way Wlad takes this fight as a voluntary.

Charr......now that is a great fight, although, Charr needs to forget about all those meaningless WBC trinkets and focus on who's fighting for the vacant title. His name in the mix once the title is awarded, but if he gets a fight with Arreola, Stiverne, Wilder or Scott.....he could be one of many in the merrygoround of WBC titlists.

Audley......really???? Only against David Haye. No way does the legitimate Undisputed Champion give a man a title shot after having been KOd every time he stepped up outside prizefighter. :-:)-(

I don't think that you got like the underlying implication that I was attempting to express. Wladimir is going to take the safe route to retirement only getting into the ring versus safe and unworthy challengers.

I expect an upset after the Lepai fight that is going to ruin his plans for retirement.

Wouldn't classify his affairs as fights.

    They're more like wrestling matches.

Wlad can retire without fighting Deontay Wilder, no one will blame him...Its borderline unethical to coerce Wlad into fighting a strict KO artist who hits harder than anybody he faced in his lifetime :bbb

    1 Alex Leapai
    2 Kubrat Pulev
3 The winner of Stiverne/Arreola (because there is no way Deontay can get past those two)
    4 Tyson Fury
5 Hughie Fury???? That's really hypotetical, but there's that willing from Fury's camp for Hughie to try to break the youth record of capturing a title. Very unlikely. If not Hughie Fury, then probably Chisora or maybe even Anthony Joshua.

His retirement tour is even less interesting than Mayweather's guy... Geez, i would be so happy when both left the sport.

Leapai and Pulev are pretty much certain for april and july.

    Then:

    - The winner of Fury vs Chisora, specially if it gets approved as WBO mandatory eliminator.

    - The winner of Arreola-Stiverne vs Wilder. I see Wlad really pushing for this one, probably will only become available by 2015.

    - The winner of Adamek-Glazkov vs Solis-Thompson if it goes that far as an IBF mandatory eliminator tournament. I'm pretty sure the IBF will push for it.

Other than that Wlad could opt for some random contender that makes sense for some reason at that particular time, as he has donne with Pianeta, Wach and Mormeck.

The WBA mandatory situation is strange, Ortiz has been there forever with no merit, he was suppose to meet with Chagaev but it was never mandated. There is Povetkin and Jennings high ranked, maybe something will happen between these names in the next months.

I do not see him retiring anytime soon. I figure he will go until 39-40.

Eh, he'll fight a few washed up cab drivers and doormen.
