Wlad needs to fight Minto or be stripped of his "titles."

Anyone else think it's psychotic for Povetkin to take this fight right now?

I do. Povetkin needs at least half a dozen more fights against top 15 fighters to really fully polish his skills. He has yet to even face a power puncher in the pros, his best wins being over feather fisted Byrd, Chambers, and Donald. All of these guys are skilled but lack any serious power.

Maybe Povetkins team knows something we don't though. He may have a glass jaw and if he tried to stick around and make more of a name for himself/improve his skills etc. he would take losses and ruin his big money chance.....

I am not sure why you don't like Povetkin but that is absolutely preposterous. Toney hardly beat Batchelder.

I see no way Povetkin can win. Wlad is going to shred his face Povetkin has thinner skin than Klitschko does. I do think the fight will be exciting though.

Once again like i keep saying..... it might be an easy challenge for Wlad but blame the IBF for this fight not Wlad. He has NO word in this fight. Fight or get stripped.

Wlad needs to fight the WBA champ, whether that be Valuev, Ruiz, Chagaev. Obviously that is impossible in the short term because Valuev-Ruiz 2 but when that gets done that's the fight he needs to press. Povetkin is the best fight in the meantime.

Much easier said than done because King enjoys having the WBA hostage with Ruiz, Chagaev, and the giant :tired
