As I said, now that it's pretty clear to you that Haye needs to do more, Valuev is hooked with a fight and Peter is also hooked with a fight who else would you recommend over Povetkin?

Your criticism clearly states that the Povetkin fight is either rubbish or not good "enough", is there anything better in an already proven weak division?

Okay, so you don't mind him fighting Povetkin. Glad we got that straight. :good

So why do you think Valuev and Peter are more dangerous to him? Valuev is very slow and takes plenty against every opponent.. in fact, Ruiz almost beat him and most people (myself included) thought Donald did. And Peter, Wlad already beat him the first time around. Peter was less fat back then and a fresh, full confident fighter. He's taken a lot of punches ever since (not to mention in the gym.... unfortunately he's one of those fighters who takes a lot during sparring and have a short career because of it).

Now i think Valuev and Peter would be great fights, but i don't see how they are so much more dangerous than Povetkin. Okay, he had trouble with Chambers (a top contender, mind you) early, but he adapted, and won the fight clearly. Valuev had trouble with Ruiz but couldn't win convincingly. Peter was nearly knocked out by McCline. You can make this argument for every fighter.

By the way, i think Chagaev is at least as good as them.

I wanted to say Chagaev, and I want to believe in the guy, but so far he looks like the next VITKLIT...a serious knockout threat, and an even more serious threat not to show up.

The only time I've seen WLAD, in recent memory not manhandle somebody, was against Peter...the guy is not easy to push around.

Everyone besides Peter was at a big disadvantage on the inside, due to the pure physicality of the situation alone. Valuev is the only guy on the radar, who may be able to manhandle KLIT...we don't know. Valuev is the only guy there is that matches up with WLAD the way he does...so basically he's got to become our lab experiment...he may be Primo Carnera to Wlad's Max Baer (end of comparison), we don't know...but it would be worth finding out.

If Peter gets him again it will be different. I know you don't believe in Peter, and he's not going to earn any points in your book when Training Camp KO6 VITKLIT, and he didn't earn any points as the World Boxing Conspiracy kept him away from the title...but WLAD can unify his belt with the WBC as soon as he'd like. Sam Peter says he wants a rematch everytime they give him a microphone.

I'm a big-time Peter supported but let's be realistic please, has Peter offered anything serious for Wladimir to consider?, was an offer made to Wladimir's team?, the answer is no. Yelling something behind the microphone does nothing, officially reaching out for his team can do something and Peter didn't do that. Let's face it, it's Peter who needs it, not Wladimir so why should he run after him?

Povetkin is a better fight than Peter at this point and I honestly believe that Povetkin is far better than Peter and will bring a lot more than Peter for Wladimir to handle. If Wladimir can get by Povetkin then I have no doubts he will do the same, if not worse, against Peter. Let's not forget that Peter has Vitali as his next opponent and that fight is 50/50 for various reasons.

Povetkin earned his shots by fighting and winning a tournament, Peter hasn't earned anything nor offered anything for Wladimir to consider. Again I repeat, Wladimir doesn't need Peter, it's Peter who has a loss to avenge and should be the one running after it, not othe other way around unless Wladimir has no options which isn't the case at all.

Exactly. Suggie wants to have it both ways...............as if Klitschko should drop the IBF belt rather than face Povetkin, who has earned the right by defeating Byrd & Chambers. POvetkin won the tourney so he's the mandatory. Besides, saying Wlad is favored in this matchup is no rap against Sascha.

    Catch up Skull...

The tourney was a sham...Brock's presence in it proves such, he should have been sent to the back of the line.

I don't have a big problem with Povetkin...it's the overall pattern of easy mandatory, easy voluntary,etc...

He should defend his belt, and be entering into prelim negotiations with Valuev or Peter...all three of them have fights coming up, so what...???...they all should plan on walking out with the belt they are competing for. Let's start planning ahead...F*ck Haye.

I agree with everything except the last part. The LOSER always wants a rematch..............coulda woulda shoulda.

I especially agree with Valuev being a good opponent since it would be the first time Wlad wasn't the bigger man in the clinches and The Giant has developed a reasonable jab of his own.

I agree again. **** Haye and his loud mouth until he earns a spot in the line.

Right now Wladimir needs to concentrate 100% on beating Povetkin, prefferably by spectacular KO. Povetkin's come forward, busy style should make for an interesting scrap. Chances are he can't stand the heat & he gets burned & KO'd.

Next up should be the winner of Valuev vs. Ruiz & I hope to God it's Valuev since I hate Ruiz and that would make for a dull fight to say the least.

If Wlad passes that test & picks up the WBA belt there will be only the winner of Vitali vs. Peter to determine the lineal Heavyweight Champion. I believe Vitali will win & then re-retire leaving the top 2 WBC ranked HW's to fight for that belt & if Haye is one of them more power to him.

Wlad should & will go after the new WBC Champion to secure his legacy.

If Haye isn't the WBC #1 or #2 ranked contender but he fought & beat 2 or so top 10 Heavys than Wladimir should & will fight him as a voluntary.

He's was trying to build up a potential WLAD-Peter II, and HBO also tried to get in on the VITKLIT-Peter action for that same reason.
