I agree, except about fighting a weak voluntary in Haye.

Haye is bragging that he now has 2 top 5 rankings at HW, so they're just handing it to the guy...since he's supposed to fight a bum in November, I suppose he gets to move up for nothing again.

Well again we agree but the problem is if Haye keeps calling Wlad out & wins a couple of mediocre fights at HW everyone will think he's ducking Haye so Wlad might as well put him out of his misery.

He did duck him in the mall...too late.

We have no time for such BS in the HW divsion.

If he wants to keep the IBF title, he HAS to face Povetkin in order to meet the mandatory obligation. And everyone wants the progress they've made in bringing the titles together, to stay, and hopefull, progress with a third in the future.

So fighting Povetkin is a MUST in order to keep his two titles together. Period.

That is all that needs to be said.

Suge, you still got them hopping.

Even CP and Scar are actually taking you seriously and offering counterpoints.

    You're pulling it off.

Righty...I haven't heard one person here claim that Povetkin is going to win, so if anybody needs to sign in under their alias...go ahead.

...what we are doing is looking ahead, and it seems that all of the chips are falling into place for HAYE...who is easier to defeat that Povetkin.

Maybe, but the last few times I saw Wlad. he was, as you've said...not at all forcefull. he has been pawing away in the early rds, and sooner or later, he'll end up as he did vs saunder ( Cory, that is ) :D

I like Peter and would hate to see him hurt but in this fight I'll pick Povetkin to stop him or win by decision, could go either way if Peter proves his power is too much for Povetkin to handle which I don't think will be the case.

I've got a funny feeling that by the time Haye 'establishes' himself as a heavy as WALDO demanded, WALDO won't be champ any more anyway and Haye will have wasted his time.

We'll have to wait and see. (what I always say when Haye comes into the discussion at HW)

Hardly credible and we went through that already. Haye did nothing but try to promote a future fight and Wladimir laughed at it as he should have, it's not Wladimir's style to go toe to toe with others in the street, it's all in the ring for him and Haye hasn't done nothing in the heavyweight division to demand a shot, unlike others who fight their way to the #1 spot like Povetkin and Thompson recently.

All I'm saying is, Haye hardly warrants (in the HW division) more than the 2 seconds it would take for WLAD to knock him down the escalator...

Not neccesarily. The IBF has rules that allow unification bouts to take priority over mandos. Now the WBC and WBA champs look like they're going to be bust this fall, so he might as well fight his mando. But let's say Vitali got hurt and Peter became available, Wlad could fight him and still keep his IBF stap.

That's why he will only be considered when he does something, talking junk doesn't rank you anywhere and I'm a Haye fan as well.

Yes it does, because he won't stop bragging about his two, top 5 rankings...not even ashamed of the fact he's done jack sh*t to earn it.
