Louis is greater than Marciano, it was an old Louis that lost to Marciano.

If you feel compelled to fill your list with white fighters, you should name guys like Greb and Dempsey instead of Calzaghe who's no business being in GOAT discussion, whether it's colour filtered or not.

Todd must also rate Joshua higher than Wlad.

That's why I've no respect for any list that ranks RJJ over Danny Green.

If you beat a legend, you become a legend.

Nope! Those were just the first ones that popped up in my head. Sorry if that rubbed anyone the wrong way!

Actually scratch that I'm not sorry. ;) But good recommendations though!

Nooooo! Why would I? Has Joshua went 49-0 and had the career Marciano has had?? Settle down there Ace! Lol

Now if Marciano never beat the **** out of Walcott, Charles or Moore I wouldn't rate him above Louis even though he blasted him into the front row. Let's not mention Joshua with Rock just yet.

GOAT SMW discussion certainly... But top 10-20 ATG discussion? Probably not. Personally, I think Calzaghe is superb at 168-175 and if he had a few more top wins he'd skyrocket towards the top 20 or so of ATG. The 10 or so year period where he feasted on(not entirely his fault) on solid but not great opposition definitely impacts his standing.

Marciano/Louis is pretty much the equivalent of Klitschko/Joshua. Hard to give Marciano any real edge over Louis despite retiring undefeated, Resume is just too deep. Surely you'd have to rate Louis highly for the same reason you do Klitschko? The long reign of title defenses and superior resume is enough to triumph Marcianos thinner but unbeaten resume.

    Foolish boy.

Half of Ali's career was merely smoke and mirrors. When the mist clears you realise just how much of a con artist the man truly was. We are talking about match fixing, blatant cheating and having the referee's on his payroll.

When I have some spare time I will go into more depth to expose this overrated charlatan who cheated honest men out of victories, so much so, that someone like Andre Ward would look on with awe and wonder.

I'd put Lewis and Vitali ahead of Muhambin Ali, both true champions who never needed to rig fights and have officials protecting them to ensure victory.

Idk. Calzaghe always stroke me as one of those who tend to get overrated around here. If I were to make a p4p rankings for the last 20 years, I'd easily put May, Pac, RJJ, Toney, Lewis, Wlad, Holyfield, MAB, B-Hop, ODLH, JMM ahead of him. Probably because of his style, that high workrate with sloppy-ish technique is one of my least favourites to Watch.
