Wladimir Klitschko or Floyd Mayweather?

Who pulled out the biggest duck between these two?

Wladimir had a simple choice. There is nothing else but one choice that he had and that choice was 'Haye' or 'Chisora' and he chose Chisora, a 14 fight veteran who is absolutely domestic level and nothing more, rather than fight a world champion for much more money.

    Or...

Floyd had a simple choice too. He could either fight Pacquiao when Pacquiao accepted everything he asked for. Mayweather sent his team into the negotiating room with a set list of demands and Pacquiao accepted them. When he accepted them, Floyd had a choice between two things. He could either fight Pacquiao or not fight him. As we talk, he's still on 'vacation' and will be for some time.

    Which duck was more blatant?

By the way, I've seen a few people say "Why is Wlad a coward, he'll fight twice in 8 weeks!".

    Bull****.

Absolutely no way he fights both of these in that space of time. None whatsoever.

I don't think either one is a duck yet, because they both might fight their guys.

To me, a duck is failing to fight someone you shared an era with who was also a qualified challanger, during your career.

Not someone you might fight in 8 months time.

    That's true.

Although I am willing to say they've both ducked because Mayweather and Wlad both said "Once they agree the fight is on" and I truly believe Haye and Pacquiao called their bluffs. Wlad wouldn't budge on money, location etc., and Haye agreed after months of being called a coward. Mayweather demanded OSDT and when Pacquiao called his bluff, Mayweather said he was going on holiday.

It may be premature to call it a duck now, yes. However, I truly don't think either fight will happen now. Haye and Pacquiao will be retired sooner rather than later.

    Shame.

spot on jack. Ive been preaching the same thing all evening!

saying to a boxer im having a tune up 8 weeks before our mega fight is a sure fire way of getting out of the fight. its just not gonna happen.

People say he doesnt want to be inactive for 9 months.

well whats more common in boxing? 9 month layoffs. or a tune up 8 weeks before a superfight?!?!

if you want the fight with haye, which you make out you desperately do, then wait an extra 8 weeks and get the fight done! coward.

The funny thing is, past Klitschko training camps have been around 9/10 weeks and now we can assume he is going to have absolutely no rest and have a shorter training camp for the biggest fight of his career?

    Yep, no chance.

Obviously the worst case scenario would be a severe injury but what if he even hurt his hands against Chisora, which put his training back a week? Nothing serious, just a few bruises. It wouldn't be important if he didn't have a fight lined up, but that scenario is entirely possible and would ruin his training for Haye.

There's no way it will happen.

    You should do more reading.

Wlad can't fight Haye in April because SKY can't guarantee the ppv date because they already have KHAN billed for that month. Doesn't look like sky will move it for this fight.

Wlad has said he will fight haye in July. What's the problem? He can do what he want's in between then. If he backs out after that then yes it a duck, but as of now he has said when he will fight Haye, yet Haye won't agree.

When Khan was on PPV in the past, you know how many buys it got? 30,000. When Haye was on PPV against Valuev, he got 1m buys.

Haye is the face of boxing on Sky, no question. They've been building a Klitschko fight for a long, long time, so there's absolutely no way Sky would favour Khan instead of Haye. None.

You don't seriously think it'll go ahead, do you?

Agreed. It will be extremely hard to pull off. I'm thinking that he is taking Chisora very lightly. Chisora isn't that fuggin' gullible.
