Wladimir Klitschko or Riddick Bowe - Who's Title Reign Was The Most Impressive?

Bowe could have done a lot more with his career if he'd had more discipline and the fire to do so.

 

Vitali was a lot better than Golota.

 

If he worked on his defense he would have been very good.

 

Bowe got hit more than Wlad and Holyfield would have had a hard time hitting Bryd even in his prime.

 

Wlad's is better.

H2H matchup, the Bowe that Rock Newman & Futch got to show up against Holy I, would beat Wlad at any point in time.

Any other point in time, Bowe is suspect.

 

There's always the one guy

 

Decidedly Wlad. He had a window there for a couple years when he totally dominated the heavyweights.

Bowe had his moments. But he never maintained any consistency nor anything that approaches the dominance that Wlad achieved.

Wlad and Bowe had one thing in common. Both didn't fight Lewis and both should have.

 

Wlad wasn't ready for Lewis.

 

I'm not even 100% sure Bowe would beat everyone on Wlad's resume.

That's debatable, but Wlad would have faced Lewis, at least.

 

Neither had such a great and impressive reign as Charles Martin

Bryd had a much better defense than Bowe.

However you can have a much better debate over who had the better title reign/s between Bowe and Vitaly.
