Wladimir Klitschko or Riddick Bowe - Who's Title Reign Was The Most Impressive?

If Bowe wasn't such a fat bum he could have faced Vitali in the late 90s. Certainly Vitali dealt with the same Herbie Hide more convincingly. Hide took the opening two rounds on the judges cards vs Bowe and was destroyed in two by Vits.

 

Even if it was a close choice, which it most definitely is not, then no way would i vote for a Champion who throws a World Championship belt in the dustbin especially in a stage managed manner, even though Bowe now says he regrets doing it.

Bowe's fighting style was fun to watch while Wladimir's fighting style was boring to watch.

 

So we have one of the greatest reigns ever in heavyweight boxing compared to the mirco-reign of Bowe.

It would have been more interesting to see them matched up, prime for prime, in which case imo Wladimir would have absolutely destroyed Bowe.

 

Bowe was one of the dirtiest fighters ever. couldn't stop Coetzer without breaking every rule in the book.

 

Bowe's reign was a disaster. He hurt boxing while on top by ducking people, splintering the titles, fighting bums, being fat, and having a ghetto posse. A great waste of talent, and I don't like Riddick's forehead crease.

Sure Bowe's 2 wins over Holyfield are better than anything on Wlad's record but then Buster Douglas' win over Tyson is arguably better than any win Wlad had, was his reign better than Wlad's? Obviously not, dominance over such a long period is a very difficult task and more impressive in my opinion that beating one guy twice you have a style advantage over.

 

Bowe is for me h2h an atg, but Wlad pisses all over him for accomplishments. Not a debate as poll shows
