  3. Holyfield wins a late KO , to fast, to athletic, to much grit, HEART, stamina..
Wlad Klits wouldn't be able to keep up the pace, and his unreliable chin would let him down in the late rounds...

    This is an easy pick...

I don't see how Holyfield would do any better against Klitschko than he did against Lewis.

  6. Lewis was a helluva lot better fighter than the Klitchkos:deal..

this and that was an old as **** holyfield. even given that, more than a few people feel he shaded the 2nd match. a prime holyfield, douglas fight, 2nd bowe fight, maybe cooper fight, or even the 2nd moorer fight (i love that one) could definitely take wlad

Holyfield was faded in the Lewis fights, but fought much smarter in the 2nd fight than he did in his prime years - knowing when to box, when to brawl etc.... though I still had Lewis winning.

Evander stopped fighters with better chins than Wlad, and took punches from heavier hitters...... granite chinned boxer/brawlers are bound to be Wlad's worst nightmare.

I'd say it would either be similar to the Foreman fight - with a stoppage - or the 2nd Bowe contest, Evander generally staying on the outside and relying on movement, getting in and out of range quickly.

I like Holyfield, but you guys are fooling yourselves.
When Lennox was working his jab against Holyfield, from a distance, Holyfield looked helpless.

I know you guys love to be nostalgic about the unending greatness of any fighter from yesteryear, coupled with the constant complains about the weakness of the heavyweight division today (as if it actually was any different with yesteryear), and the irrational hate for any and all things Klitschko.... but come on, Holyfield would not present that big of an obstacle for Wlad.

To the people who think that the early fights between Bowe and Holyfield are indicative in the slightest to how Wlad v Holyfield would play out.... you're nuts.

Bowe was entirely prone to standing there and brawl. To pretty much say "screw my height and reach advantage, I'm throwing hooks in close".

Wlad is lightyears ahead of Bowe when it comes to ring composure and discipline.

That fight doesn't give a hint of how Wlad v Holyfield would play out.

Klitschko by late round stoppage. Evander gets hit too much and will not be able to avoid the jab and right hand. Also, Wlad is too big and skilled for Holy. See the Bowe's fights. Wlad is bigger, fitter, and more skilled than Bowe. Too much for Evander.
