true but it gives an indication of how holyfield fights against a bigger opponent. that strategy, that discipline i feel can be key against wlad

I'd pick Klitschko, based on that superb jab and the ability to make his size difference work wonders for him. Holyfield had heart, and it'd be a close one, but I think Klitschko's sheer physical advantages would win him a close UD.

 

What did Lewis achieve that Wlad has not already acheived. Lewis beat old versions of Holyfield and Tyson. Names that look good on paper. Wlad has cleaned out the division in dominating fashion and looks to dominate for years to come. The quality of his opposition is actually stronger that Lewis's, when looked at objectively.

come on man, i love wlad so i don't wanna trash his resume. you can admire him as a talent but: 1)lennox cleaned out his division (wlad is still cleaning up some of his leftovers) 2)lewis' competition is stronger and not by a little.

i have to agree, you must be trolling. argue that wlad has more talent and could potentially become great, you'll have a better shot. to argue resumes, at THIS point is futile and does make it look like trolling

Lewis fought a prime version which wouldn't have gotte nstopped by Klitschko to say the least.

 

Holy was already going downhill when he fought lewis and he definitely lost the first fight with lewis and many people thought holy might of won the second, i think it was either a draw or in lewis favor too. in his prime, holy had a great chin and he was great at everything. his workrate would be too much for wlad and no way will wlad be able to get holy off of him. i think he'd stun holy and might even floor him in the first rounds, but no way will wlad in his absolute best will he be able to stay with holy once he gets inside. TKO 8 win for Holyfield

To be honest Dave, I thought a past prime Holyfield did well against Lewis! He was competitive in their first fight and many good judges believe that Evander won the re-match! As several of the guys have pointed out, Wlad's beard is not the most reliable and in a close fight like this it would be imo prove to be the deciding factor. Holyfield via late tko!
