Wladimir Klitschko says his next fight will probably be in March and he's looking at the following heavyweights as potential opponents for 2014:

    Kubrat Pulev
    Denis Boytsov
    winner of Haye-Fury
    Deontay Wilder
    Bryant Jennings

Decent list of possible opponents, though I don't want to see Haye/Wlad again that fight was such a let down and Wilder is not ready, give him another year to get more experience.

Question is will any of them want to fight Wlad we know how difficult it is to get opponents to face him. Don't want to see him scrape the barrel and face another Mormeck, Pianeta or Wach level of opponent.

Some decent options there for Wlad. The Haye-Fury winner wouldn't fit time wise so Pulev would be the best option of the lot.

Boystov would be a solid opponent but it would be nice if he beat some sort of contender between now and then.

Wilder and Jennings aren't ready yet. If Jennings gets busy and Wilder ever steps up his competition they'd be respectable options for the end of the year.

Guess it ties in with his contractual obligations with Vince McMahon

I read right after the Povetkin fight that Wlad has to and will fight Pulev next.

I agree and after the pretty weak schedule he's had, outside of Povetkin, he should be busier.

I'd sooner he fight three times a year rather than two. Hopefully he will in 2014.

He wanted the Povetkin fight to be in late August or early September, so he could fight again on Dec 14.

This is the problem with Klitschko and his fans. They just want him to rack up wins and dont care about who he fights or his performance in the ring.

Bashir is advising Wlad to get Wilder now before he gets better. Maybe it will happen and Wilder can get lucky.

That fight comes down to who ever lands first.

Anybody but Boystov is fine. Wlad has no buisness fighting him.

Pulev is a Mandatory but I am not as high on him as some are on here from the fights I have seen I don't know what the big deal is about him just my opinion.

All the other guys sans Haye are undefeated. Wlad needs 3 fights in 2014. Wilder I think is going to wait for the Klitschko's to retire I read an interview with Jay Deas and he acted like Wilder wasn't going to be ready for a title shot until Summer 2015 that is a long way away........

Very good list of opponents with exception of Boytsov. My first choice would be Detonay Wilder followed closely by Jennings. I hope that sparks interest in US boxing.

The winner of the Haye v Fury fight could be done later in 2014 since they are fighting, hopefully, in the beggining of 2014 so that a fight in March is unlikely.

In the meantime we could see what Boytsov is capable of. He hasn't fought for awhile.

Finally The Khan can wait. He wants an interim fight anyway.
