Is Wilder really shorter then Vitali? I never saw the two side by side. I can only tell you i saw Vitali one once being 1 cm (1/2 inch) shorter as one of his opponents, my fellow german Timo Hoffmann. Vitali is 201 cm (6ft7), Timo 202 cm (6ft7.5)
I was always thought he looked at least 6 foot 5.5. But I guess it's splitting hairs by all accounts he is a very tall boxer.
Vlad has an upright posture, in some pictures he looks bigger and in others smaller than Joshua, and in the pictures with Fury it looks like they are almost the same height...
Appearance does not equal strength. Strength is different to power and none are valued by the look of a body. Weight/size definitely help, but it doesn’t mean everything
No way was he wearing 3 inch lifts. He was definitely wearing a height enhancer against Fury though I agree on that. 3 inch lifts + shoes (1-1.5 inches) would make him appear 6'10 which he doesn't. He was probably wearing a 1 inch lift plus he wears huge clunky shoes (obvious in that final weigh in vs Fury)
Credit to the sport both brothers. Always in shape, always meticulously prepared, both now criminally underrated for me, something I confess to have been guilty of myself for many years.
Most of these fighters inflate their height, Fury more so than most They likely add their height with footwear I also viewed wlad as a solid 6'5 guy, maybe another half inch taller Fury is 6'7, so is Vitali Wilder probably around 6'6 Wlad and Aj are very close
Agreed Both great champions, especially wlad, as Vitali hung them up and let wee bro get the shine Say what you want about their competition, but vitali went quite a while with Barley losing a round I rated them at the time, but obviously more so. I think both are better than Aj and Fury and not sure about Usyk. Usyk p4p better, but the brothers would ask questions
