"We had to get clearance on a date with Sky TV for pay per view in the UK and they we were concerned about conflicting with the upcoming Royal Wedding. So the wedding is set for the end of April and we got clearance on a fight date of July 2, for sure."

Wladimir, who turns age 35 on March 25, said he intends to fight another British challenger, lightly-regarded Dereck Chisora, before the tangles with hard-hitting but lantern-jawed Haye.

"I will fight Chisora on an April date, in Germany," Klitschko said. "Then we will move foreward with Haye."

The Chisora-WKlit title bout, with Wlad's IBF and WBO belts on the line, will still go on in Mannheim, where it had been originally slated for Dec. 11.

So, he is all right now. What happened to the abdominal injury? Sure, healed fast.

I know you're trying your best to hate...but come on.
Doctor said six weeks from time of injury until Wlad could train. Nothing out of line with that statement.

so what does Haye do in the meantime. If he didn't schedule a unification he has to fight Chagaev his mandatory?

That fight has to happen now, and because of TV it will have to be in Many or June which make the July date impossible.

Also July 2nd is only 9 weeks after April 30th. You telling Wladamir Klitscko is going to go into the biggest fight of his life only doing an 8 week training camp with 1 weeks rest before hand.

except for the fact its a 2 inch abdominal tear which would mean he is out of action for at least a year.

Hate, not really. He was trying to get out of the Chisora fight until it back fired on him because he had to commit to a TV contract. I just hate it when bs floats on water. That is all. :D:good

    Straight from Wladimir himself:

"The fight with Haye is not off, the fight is on," Klitschko said, smiling brightly.

"We had to get clearance on a date with Sky TV for pay per view in the UK and they we were concerned about conflicting with the upcoming Royal Wedding. So the wedding is set for the end of April and we got clearance on a fight date of July 2, for sure."

No, it was a 1.47 inch in LENGTH tear that was minor, not deep and no surgery was required. The doctor said from the very beginning that it would be 6-weeks until Wladimir could start training.
