after the November fight, Mr Magic will:
    a) wish he was Polish if Wach wins
    b) expose himself as a Klit fan
    c) still be a rascist ****** and wannabe Brit
    d) all of the above

Ratings don't say how good a fighter is. McCline and Thompson were the two contenders. Austin has always been a trial horse and Jefferson was an hbo hypejob with no skills and a glass jaw. Hype+weak opponents=a good rating.

When you need rankings to explain how good a fighter is they aren't good.

Yea he retired after being offered a big payday for a rematch, an keep in mind the talk was for lewis to fight roy jones, but he thought he would dispatch vitali first, well 6 rounds, losing 5 on my card, offical 4, he gets some luck an vitali has a cut to stop the fight....

Wlad will probably have an easier time against Wach than against shorter opponents. Wach will always be in perfect punching range and Wlad doesn't have to punch down.

No, I used rankings to explain why none of these fighters were journeymen. Journeyman are outside the rankings completely and not in a position to challenge for any significant belt, Big Foot Martin and Puritty are journeyman. You seem to have completely misunderstood my post. I even called Austin crap, yet you are responding as if I defended him. And yeah..fringe fighters are sometimes used as trial horses. Jefferson never had a good rating, his exciting HBO knockouts were recognized, but he only reached the fringe level.

McCline is the best of the bunch by a good margin. He had good hands and proved himself the better man against the more hyped contenders of his class: Briggs, Grant, and Whitaker.

Yeah, Thompson could be argued as a real contender I suppose.
