The answer may be an obvious and resounding 'Yes!' to most true boxing fans, but lets take a look at some of the facts and logic to shut those old guys (living in the past) up:

    • No style seems to work against Wlad; you cant slug it out with a 6'6" guy with power like him, its impossible, noone could do it. Except Corrie Sanders. Do you see any other fighter in history like Sanders? No, didnt think so.

    • guys like Frazier and Tyson couldnt 'pressure' a specimen like Wlad (at 6'6") - they dont have the toughness or the power to contemplate a fight like that. Tyson, frazier et al are great, no doubt, but that style is suicide 'vs' Wlad. Only a guy like Lamon brewster could pull that off. Nobody else in history. Maybe a prime Ross Purrity.

    • now the haters think Wlad may be a bit chinny (lol) - so how about swinging wildly for his chin? No chance with a 6'6" athlete like Wlad; I'd say only someone with the unique combination of deceptive slowness and clumsiness like Sam peter could pull THAT off :good

What about these pretenders like Holmes or Lewis? Some of you old, out of touch guys might ask...?
Wlad clearly batters and stops Lewis imo, here are a list of reasons why:
    • He's an inch taller
    Louis, 6'2"
    Liston 6'1"
    Tyson 5'11"
    Lewis 6'5"
    Ali 6'3"
    Wlad 6'6"

    Need I say more?

wlad is just the greatest heavy of this era. Because he is tall does not mean he automatically wins all of these fights . i like wlad but saying tyson in his prime couldnt pressure him? or his 3 inch height advantage against Ali makes him capable of beating Ali and all of the other heavyweights?
he would have to fight alot better agianst Ali or Tyson than he did agaisnt Sultan and throw something besides his jab in order to beat them

Allright already, that **** was funny :rofl  :yep

But why no props for Ross the Boss? Surely he did better against Wlad than Peter did. Peter did his shuffle in the end though so I guess he edges Purrity................

wlad is a great heavyweight boxer, but not the greatest of all time.. he just hasnt beaten that many greats or has accomplished as much as Ali or Frazier did..

LENNOX LEWIS would dominate WLAD in his prime

Just another Wlad hater posting nonsense. A month from now, they will use this as a way to prove that Klitschko fans are crazy... when it is always the haters starting threads like this.

youre big on height, arent you? :nono

in theory and in practice, its a perfect roll and an uppercut that could even up the fight for a much shorter opponent (think tyson, jack dempsey, joe frazier). there are situations where being tall works at a disadvantage. it could even be a bad match up against big punchers who rolls with the punches perfectly.

He's a very good fighter. Best now, until or if his brother can come back...which I doubt...he's been away too long and don't get a warm up fight.
Lets talk about him being he greatest when he's 36 and holds all belts for a long time.
