Not his whole career as he used to be exciting pre-Brewster 1 and had decent action fights after that with Peter, Byrd II, and Brewster II. He doesn't fight for action he fights to win and until someone beats him with this style then he shouldn't change it which I don't think will happen. His timing and sense of distance are masterful and I actually enjoy watching him fight. He's the boxing version of GSP and both are great fighters and fight to win. Can't fault them while they're very effective and I love both.

Agree with these great comments 100%

Actually I like How Wlad's career turned out. Yes he had those setbacks but he showed that he could rebound from them to become the great champ he is now. With him bein undefeated he never would've been able to get the chance to show that he can rebound from being ko'd. People underrate that as ko's can completely kill a guys confidence but Wlad moved on, adapted, and developed an effective style with Steward.

All depends on what you appreciate.

I'm sure to the casual fan looking for Roy Jones showboating, he's probably boring to watch.

Personally, I train in the sport (just as a hobby) and I enjoy watching fighters like Wlad, Kessler, Hopkins or Marquez because I know how difficult it is to do what they do.

Also, the dedication those guys have to conditioning and perfecting what they do is amazing.

Not to mention that instead of being in the news for drugs, jail, tax evasion... Wlad is in the news for charity work and positive things.

That is exactly what boxing needs and what I think a "real champion" should be.

Boxing needs more of great sportsmen and less loud mouth clowns who are an embarrassment every time they open their mouths or make the news outside the ring.

his style is boring because hes very predictable and throws the same thing over and over. If he had more moves and changed up the tempo a bit hed be more entertaining.

Certainly not. The amount of idiocy he makes his haters spout on the internet alone is already quite entertaining

He keeps on winning though,it's not his fault his opposition lack the skillset and ring IQ to beat him ( and the fact most of them are morbidly obese and tire after a couple of rounds ) I'd rather watch him doing what he does, as "boring" as it can be sometimes than watching two flabby no mark hype job bums going life and death over 12 rounds.

I enjoy watching this type of fighter. This is the "sweet science of boxing".

    :good

I like the way Wlad becomes a more well rounded fighter with Emanuel Steward.

Wlad is the Champion and he behaves like a real good Champion and sportsman.

Wlad is a great guy and a very good champ . . . but he is boring as **** in and out of the ring. I hate when Bhop jabs and grabs and I hate it when heavies do it even more.

For those who say being a gentleman is good for the sport explain why, when boxing goes the way of the HW division, that we are getting are ass kicked by MMA and Wrasslin. this is a ****ing joke. You cannot be boring in and out of the ring and expect to be popular outside of you home base and few segments of the population. If the Bros played up the whole Ivan Drago type Image they would out sell Tyson. If the fought like tyson they would be the biggest stars this sport would almost ever see . . . I guess if my aunt had balls she would be my uncle!
