You're just focusing on a small group of deluded people. There are very good posters from the UK who like Haye yet are reasonbable about his prospects of beating either Klitschko.

As for Wladimir being disrespected, I do agree with you but only to a point. I feel that Wladimir may have let his golden opportunity slip away by fighting so cautious against Ibragimov. It just seemed like Wladimir could do serious damage to Sultan if he had just opened up more and thrown the right hand. As it was, he didn't get credit for a knockdown that should have been called. We finally had a unification match in the heavyweight division after 9 years and a fighter waiting to ascend to the throne in style and we got 12 rounds of Wladimir pawing and slapping Sultan's jab down. From a tactical standpoint, it was perfect as Wlad won all but a round or two but from an entertainment standpoint, it left a lot to be desired. It gave Wladimir's critics more ammunition against him and it handed critics of the heavyweight division in general what was akin to a bag of evidence.

I tried to be positive about the win for Wlad cuz he's a likeable guy but I couldn't get the result out of my head. Fighters need to capture the public's imagination in order to become legit and Wladimir missed out on a big chance that night. Even the Ukrainian media pounded him afterwards.

The guy wants to get paid. That's all it is.

He is no different than any other guy calling out the Klitschkos.

Did you ever see when Wlad beat Barrett? The result was similar: Wlad knocked down the guy 5 times as did Haye.

However, he also didn't get dropped by Monte.

Wlad has plenty of exciting fights.

I think he will have other Unification fights and I think he will knock the other champion out even if they fight like Sultan which I don't see happening anyways.

still harping on the injury thing huh Suge? VitKlit's injuries are behind him and he is going to shatter Haye's Glass Jaw. I know you want so bad for VitKlit to get beat but there is not a fighter in the world today in any weight class that can do it. I can't believe you would even post crap like this after all the hype you gave Peter only to have him lose every second of every round against VitKlit. Peter's career is over and Haye's Heavyweight experiment will be over also after he gets KOed by VitKlit.

You should be embarrassed if you think Barrett KD Haye. It was a clear slip (right foot) followed by a cheeky shot by Monte.

I also have to laugh at calling Haye fighting Wlad's leftovers from 8 years ago an exciting fight. The Haye/Barrett fight was pretty much a carbon copy of the Wlad/Barrett fight 8 years previous.

You're seeing what you want to see. Anyway, this has been done to death and it's not relevant in the overall context of this thread.

If Wlad had anything about him, it would be him and not Vitali facing Haye in Summer 09.

Haye wasn't decked legitimately by Barrett.

I suppose Benn decked Eubank in the first fight as well?

To be honest I haven't seen that fight in a while. However, I'm looking it up on youtube right now; just to compare.

And sometime srightfully so,he has some embarrassing losses and some very dull fights. And the level of competition isn't great but that most of the time ain't his fault.
