Because its all about hyping a match up. Thats also why Haye was at Wlads fight and was introduced at the post fight press conference. Its all maketing. They want everyone to talk about it and thats whats happening

You may be right, but I would still like to see it, Peter still has very dangerous, and we both know Wlad's chin is still weak, so anything can IMO.

Why do you keep talking about rematches? Also, Toney never started going after Rahman until he knew that Rahman couldn't see any right hands because of that headbutt. What about their first fight?:huh Funny that you brought up to guys who were beat by Rahman the first time they fought him. The judges may have scored their second fight a draw... but everyone with a brain saw Rahman box Toney's face off. Rahman was also easily winning the second fight before the headbutt.

Wlad doesn't HAVE to go after people with wreckless abandon. He dismantles them, and then takes them out. That is what great boxers can do. He doesn't need to throw caution to the wind, because he has the talent to get the job done the right way. Hit, and not get hit.

    Think about it Suge.....
Vitali has 1 maybe 2 more fights in him at the most. Lewis said "NO" so the thought has been that a fight with Haye would be a huge payday for Vitali before he retires. Its not signed yet. they are trying to figure out who fights who. Give it time before you accuse Wlad of ducking because befroe Vitali won, we were set to go to London

There you go... off into another thread claiming again that Wlad has a weak chin. When you already admitted yourself that his knockdowns earlier in his career were more due to previous pacing, stamina, and balance issues.

If Wlad has that weak of a chin... then Sam Peter not only hits like a girl, but also is the worst finisher in the history of boxing.

I would like to see Peter. I think he has to show the fire he had in his next couple fights, then people will start to talk about a fight again.

I liked peter outside the ring and cameras. He was a nice guy. I hope he can get back. He needs to change is Mgmt and corner 1st

Nobody is interested in seeing Sam Peter fight any Klitschko until he proves that he can win against a top contender, who isn't 40 years old.

I agree he is a fine champion that beats everyone in front of him and uses fundamentals well. He has two problems though that he gets discredit for:

1-He is in a dead era of heavyweight boxing much like Holmes was in during the 80s (particularly early 80s).

2-He is a European fighter so Americans seem to discredit him over that is it fair? short answer no.

I feel he would have held his own (not saying he would beat those guys) in any era of heavyweight boxing if his chin holds up.

Wlad does have a weak chin, not glass. Most of his knockdowns were due to balance issues and stamina problems, but there were still a handful of knockdowns or knockouts that were due to Wlad's chin being weak, both Peter and Sanders proved that if you pressure Wlad enough he is bound to either fold or go down. However, Wlad has improved greatly with the help of Emanuel Steward, who has showed him the proper art of clinching when in trouble, while also giving him the tools needed to provide an adequate enough offense, which inlcudes an all time great jab and straight right hand, that his oppenents think twice about trying to mount an offense that will more and likely be difused by Wlad's superior jab, which keeps almost all of his oppenents out of striking distance, which severely limits the threat of Wlad being caught with anything significant enough to knock him out.

I don't care how many fights ViTKLiT has, he is on borrowed time and has already muddled the HW division.

People wanted WLAD vs. Haye...but I guess Haye had too good of a chance in that bout.

So WLAD's big bro/enforcer had to jump a flight to London to bail him out...

...and ViTKLiT doesn't need to make people talk, they were already talking aobut WLAD vs. Haye...and ViTKLiT is supposed to fight Gomez, but I see it's business as usual with the kLIT's, the alphabet orgs bend to their will.

...and WLAD was quiet as a church mouse about Haye until ViTKLiT got involved, now WLAD wants to know why Haye isn't talking so much.

    Wlad is ViTKLiT's son.

I completely agree, his cornermen are terrible, but alot of the blame has to go to Peter too. After reading somethings about Peter, I'm starting believe that he feels he's too good to train for fights, and rarely listens to the people trying to help him the most in the ring. I hope Peter recovers from his devastating lose and recaptures peoples imaginations again, in this weak division everybody gets at least more shot at title, some even 4 or 5 shots at a belt within a couple, if guys like Ruiz, Golota, and Rahman get them type of opertunites even today, why cant a better fighter in Peter?
